This guide is perfect if you want to:
Integrate courses directly inside your community space as an optional add on
Offer free, paid, or time-unlocked courses in your Learning Tab
Encourage upsells once a member has joined your community
The Learning tab inside your community is where courses can be displayed. You can choose how. If you don't want to use this feature - you don't need to! Members can always use the Home tab to see all of their courses - this is just a great way to add further gamification and upsell opportunities.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Courses > hover over Communities > and select [Groups]
Click [Login] on your community group
Once inside, go to the [Learning] tab > click [+ Add Course] > and select the course you’d like to add, from the drop-down
Select a Course Visibility option, from the drop-down:
All Members: Everyone in the community sees the course
Level Unlock: Only unlocks once members reach a certain level (if gamification is enabled)
Select which level should gain access
Buy Now: Members can purchase the course directly
Set the Subscription Type (i.e. Recurring or One Time payment)
Set the Course Price and Currency
If recurring, choose whether to allow a number of Trial Days and select the Billing Period (i.e. Monthly, Weekly, or Annual payments)
Toggle ON Test Mode, if you would like to place a test purchase first
Time Unlock: Becomes available after a set number of days since joining
Set the Access starts at Day number to the number of days after joining the community, when the course should unlock
Private Channel: Only members in a private channel will gain access
Select the specific Private Channel
Private: Only admins can grant access to members manually (members will be able to see the course as locked)
Note: Private course access can be managed from Members tab > [⋮] three dots on any specific member > [Manage Courses]
Click [Add Course] to finish
