How the Affiliate Manager Works in Ivorey
Ivorey’s Affiliate Manager allows you to create and manage campaigns that track affiliate performance and payouts. Unlike other platforms where a single campaign covers all offers, Ivorey requires you to create a separate affiliate campaign for each specific offer. This setup gives you more flexibility and precision when managing promotions.

How affiliate campaigns work in Ivorey
Each affiliate campaign you create will typically be tied to a specific offer, meaning most businesses will end up having multiple affiliate campaigns - with each campaign tracking leads and commissions independently. This allows you to create different commission structures, for example you may want different commissions for selling a low-ticket course versus selling a high-ticket 1:1 container.
Each campaign is tied to a source, such as a funnel, website, or form. Affiliates promote using unique links generated for that campaign. Tracking is campaign-specific, meaning affiliates must share the correct campaign link to earn commissions for a specific offer.

How do people signup to become an affiliate?
Affiliates register through forms you create. Once somebody registers to become an affiliate, you will create a workflow that assigns them adds them into your affiliate manager, and assigns them to your chosen campaign/s.

You will get to choose the payout frequency when setting up your campaign, and are responsible for doing the payouts. This can be done via connecting to the PayPal API, or manually using your own prefered method.
Create Your First Affiliate Campaign
Step 1: Create a New Campaign
Go to [Marketing] > [Affiliate Team] > [Campaign] and click the "+ Add" button to start creating your campaign.
Step 2: Select a Campaign Source
Choose the source for your campaign, such as a funnel, website, or form. This should be where your offer is located that you want affiliates to promote.
Specify the landing page where potential customers will be directed. This will be the link that leads land on when your affiliate shares their URL.
Step 3: Review Products
Check the list of products associated with your selected source. Add or remove products to ensure you only include products you want commissions to be eligible on.
For example, you may have a sales funnel that sells a course and you're happy for affiliates to earn commissions on it. However on later steps in the same funnel, you may have another product as an upsell which is for a bonus 1:1 call with you. Understandably, you may not want people to earn commissions on the second product in the funnel, but only the first. In that case, you'd ensure to only select the first offer in the funnel to be eligible in this campaign instead of them all.
Step 4: Set Default Commission
Set a default commission rate for your campaign. You can choose a flat fee or a percentage of the product price.
If needed, customize commissions at the product level to offer tailored payouts for different products.
Step 5: Enable Multi-Tier Commissions (Optional)
Use the Advanced Commissions settings to enable multi-tier commissions, supporting up to seven tiers. This is only relevant if you are going to design an affiliate program where affiliates can recruit sub-affiliates and earn commissions for their downlines. In most cases, this step is skipped.
Step 6: Add a Campaign Description (Optional)
Include a brief description of the campaign.
Step 7: Assign Affiliates
If you already have contacts in Ivorey who you want to be registered as an affiliate for this campaign, you can assign them at this step. Alternatively, you can add them later or wait for them to opt-in on their own via a form.
Step 8: Adjust Additional Settings
Select the advanced settings section to setup the following:
Email template: We've created one for you already called "Affiliate Signup Confirmation". Select this from the dropdown and then customise it to suit your business and brand. To access our email template, please go to a new tab, then into [Marketing] > [Emails] > [Templates] > [New] > [Email Marketing Templates] and search for the "Affiliate Signup" email. Once you've edited this email, go back to your Affiliate Campaign and set this as the default email to send.
Cookie duration to track affiliate activity. This is how long you want the time to be in between a lead clicking on an affiliate link and actually purchasing.
Payout terms. This is how often you will process the payouts.
Step 9: Publish or Save
Once you’ve set up the campaign, choose to Publish it immediately or Save as Draft for further editing.
2. Create Your Affiliate Signup Process
Under [Site Pages] > [Forms] > [Form Templates] you will see a template we have created for you called "Affiliate Signup Form". Edit this form if you wish to change any of the questions and/or branding, then hit [Save].
Back on the Ivorey main menu, go to [Workflows] then [Create New]. Set the following triggers and actions:
Trigger: When form submitted. Apply filter to select your Affiliate Signup Form.
Action: Add a tag "submitted: affiliate signup form" (you will need to type in this tag name to create it)
Action: Add a tag "active: [insert your affiliate campaign name]" (you will need to type in this tag name to create it)
Action: Add to Affiliate Manager
Action: Add to Affiliate Campaign. Then apply the filter to select the specific affiliate campaign you want anyone who submits this form to be assigned to. If you have multiple campaigns you want to add them to, then repeat this step as many times as neccessary.
Action: Send internal notification. Write a message to yourself to let you know a new affiliate has signed up!
Once you've done all of the above, toggle the workflow from draft mode to [Publish] and hit [Save].
Next, we suggest building a Funnel so you can closely monitor your affiliate signup process, monitoring the analytics and creating a guided journey. To do this, navigate to [Funnels] and select [Create New]. You will want to add 2 x pages/steps to this funnel as follows:
Page 1: Affiliate Signup Page. Create a simple landing page that has details about your affiliate program, the commissions, a link to the terms and conditions etc, and then drag and drop the [Form] element and select your Affiliate Signup Form. Click on the form inside the page builder, and go to the second tab of the settings panel on the right hand side. You will see a setting that asks where you want this form to redirect to once submitted, and you'll want to select "next Step" (which simply means when someone submits this form, you want them to get sent to the next page in the funnel)
Page 2: Thank You Page. Create a simple landing page which provides any next steps e.g. let them know to please check their inbox to receive confirmation and details of their affiliate registration. You may also want to add other features to this page, such as a shareable graphic they could go use on social media to say they just joined your program. Get creative and have fun with this!
Once you've created your funnel pages, you'll need to hit [Publish] on each page. The [Settings] tab of your funnel is where you can choose the domain you want this funnel to live on, change the page name, and set the final URL that you will send people to. Once you have published and have your URL, you're now officially ready to start sharing your affiliate registration link with people to start joining your affiliate campaign! We always suggest doing a test run yourself to ensure the signup process works smoothly as expected.
