Before You Dive In

Payment links are one of the simplest ways to start collecting payments in Ivorey™. We recommend reviewing all of your options, in our Choosing How To Sell Through Ivorey™ guide, before diving into the technical setup below.

Payment links allow you to create a secure checkout link for an offer, service, or product and then share it with your audience anywhere (e.g. email, social media, DMs, or your website).

This guide is perfect if you want to:

  • Create a payment link for a one-time or recurring offer

  • Start collecting payments instantly without a website, funnel, or domain setup required

Prerequisite: Please ensure that you have set up your payment processor in Ivorey™, before creating a payment link.

How to Create a Payment Link

Creating a payment link in Ivorey™ only takes a few minutes. You’ll be able to choose your pricing type (one-time or recurring), connect your product or offer, and generate a simple checkout page instantly.

Click here for the written instructions

  1. From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Payments > click the [Payment Links] tab > and click the [+ Create New Payment Link] button

  2. On the left-hand side, under Products, select the products that you want to include in this checkout, from the drop-down menu. You will be able to select any product you have created inside Ivorey™, including any course, community or service product you've set up

Note: you can add just one or multiple products (offers), but your customer will not be able to remove any products included in the checkout.

  3. Once a product is added, you can adjust the quantity and choose whether or not to allow customers to adjust quantity at checkout. You can then click the [+ Add Another Product] button, to add more products

  4. Under Options, you can choose to:

    1. Require a phone number at checkout

    2. Collect customer addresses

    3. Allow coupon codes

    4. Redirect to URL to direct to a page after payment

  5. Under Advanced Options, you can:

    1. Choose the Payment Link Button text (Pay, Book, or Donate)

    2. Select whether to include a Branding note (e.g. Powered by Your Business Name)

    3. Add a link to your Terms and Conditions

    4. Set an Automatic Deactivation date (if you want the payment link to expire) or leave it open

  6. Under Payment Mode, toggle to Test > and click the [Preview] button, at the top right corner, to view your payment link checkout and place a test purchase

  7. When you're ready, toggle the Payment Mode back on to Live, and click the [Save] button, at the top right corner, to start collecting payments

Frequently Asked Questions about Payment Links

Can I customise the design of a payment link checkout page?

No, the design of a payment link checkout page is not customisable. This method is best used for quick payments, without much setup required. If you would like more customisation or to consider your other options, please refer to our Choosing How to Sell Through Ivorey guide.

Why isn't my manual payment option showing up on my payment link checkout page?

Manual payment methods (such as bank transfer) are not currently supported for payment links, and only automated methods (like Stripe and PayPal) will appear at checkout. If you need to accept a manual payment, you can send an invoice instead. Please refer to our Proposals & Invoices guide for the instructions.
