This guide is perfect if you want to:
Control which notifications are sent for invoices, estimates, and contracts
Customise and brand the email templates used for client communications
We have created pre-made email templates for you that are available inside the Template Library. They are pre-filled with custom values that will automatically pull in customised data to send, such as invoice created, estimate created and contract created. By customising these emails with your brand, you ensure a professional, consistent experience.
Please refer to our Customise Default Emails guide for the detailed steps to use custom values, to adjust all of our default email templates to your branding.
Now that you have customised your email templates, you can select these inside the settings of your client portal, so that all of your automated emails are on brand.
From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Courses > hover over Client Portal > and then click on [Settings]
Next you can click on [Email Settings] > and tick the box next to each type of email notification that you’d like to enable
Note: Leave the box unticked for any you don’t want to send automatically.
Click the [Default Template] button, next to any enabled email type > select the relevant customised email template (e.g. Client Portal Email - Invoice Created), from the drop-down > and click the [Save] button
Make sure to replace the default template with your branded email templates, for each of the email notification types you have enabled
If you don’t customise the client portal emails, the system defaults will send generic emails. While functional, they won’t reflect your branding or tone so we encourage you to customise for an elevated client experience!
