This guide is perfect if you want to:
Connect ShipStation to your Ivorey
account
Automate shipping and fulfillment by syncing orders
Display live shipping rates at checkout
Create and manage shipping labels
Begin by installing the ShipStation Integration to enable seamless syncing between your Ivorey
store and ShipStation.
From the main Ivorey
menu, go to your [Account Settings] > [Integrations]
Search for [ShipStation] > click [View App] > [Install] > and select [Allow & Install]
Login to your ShipStation Account > then go to [Settings] > [Account] > [API settings] > [Generate API]
From the main Ivorey
menu, go to [Settings] > [Integrations] > [ShipStation] > and enter your LIVE API key and API Secret Key
Click [Connect]
Ensure at least one Ship From Location is created: Log in to your ShipStation account then go to [Settings] > [Shipping] > [Ship From Locations]
Enable the Package Option for all active carriers: Log in to your ShipStation account, go to [Settings] > [Shipping] > [Packages]
Confirm that your ShipStation Account Currency matches your Ivorey
store currency
Once complete, check the boxes in the integration settings and click [Connect]

From the main Ivorey
menu, go to your [Account Settings] > [Integrations] and open ShipStation > Click [+ Add Shipping] Option
Enter a Shipping Option Name. This is what customers see at checkout
Select one or more carrier services (e.g. USPS Priority, UPS Ground, FedEx 2Day)
Set a Fallback Rate. This is used if live rates are unavailable
Click [Create]
Add a product to your store cart > and proceed to checkout
Review the Shipping step > and confirm that live ShipStation rates appear
If live rates don’t load, the fallback rate will apply automatically
Once integrated, ShipStation becomes the central hub for managing order fulfillment, labels, and tracking. Once connected:
Orders auto-sync into ShipStation
You can generate and print shipping labels
Mark orders as shipped from ShipStation
Tracking numbers sync back to Ivorey
and are sent to customers automatically
Make sure the customer has entered a valid shipping address and that carriers are active in your ShipStation account.
The fallback flat rate you set during setup will automatically be applied.
Rates only calculate correctly if your Ivorey
store currency matches your ShipStation account currency. Update settings in both ShipStation and Ivorey
if needed.
You can compare live shipping rates from over 50 carriers.
Ensure your carrier accounts, sender/receiver details, and shipping rules are all set up correctly in ShipStation.
When you mark an order as shipped in ShipStation, tracking details sync back to Ivorey
and are sent via branded notifications.

Yes! The best practice is to enable inventory sync and update this frequently to prevent overselling and stockouts. Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, eBay, etc. to centralise order management anywhere else you sell.
Of course - you can connect Shipstation directly to your Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, eBay, etc. to centralise order management and then sync with Ivorey
for seamless online selling through eBay
Use ShipStation’s analytics dashboard to track shipping costs, delivery times, and carrier performance. You can also add tags to your orders such as "shipped" when the order is sent via Shipstation to view in Ivorey
, however, our dashboard does not natively pull ShipStation analytics into its own reports.
Before disconnecting anything:
Export your WooCommerce order history, shipping presets, and automation rules
Review your ShipStation store settings: carrier accounts, branded templates, automation rules, and tags
Note any custom fulfillment logic (e.g. gift orders, international handling, inventory sync) that you want to replicate in Ivorey
Since you're setting up a new ShipStation account:
Reconnect only the Ivorey
store via the LeadConnector integration
Add your carrier accounts and configure sender/receiver details
Rebuild your automation rules based on what worked in WooCommerce, but tailor them to Ivorey
's product structure and checkout flow
Follow the official setup guide above to configure the new integration.
Publish settings and test the checkout flow to confirm live rates are displaying.
You will also need to rebuild any tags, that have been set up in your previous online store (eg, woocommerce)
