This guide provides a clear, step-by-step process for migrating your community from your current platform to Ivorey
. It is designed to remove guesswork and ensure your migration is completed in the correct order, so your members move across smoothly.
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Migrate from Kajabi, Skool, Mighty Networks, Thinkific, or Circle to Ivorey
Cancel your previous community platform once your community is fully set up in Ivorey
Before you can move across your members or content, you need to first set up a new community group inside Ivorey
. Please follow the steps in our Master Help Guide on Communities, to set up your community and learn how to manage it.
Done means:
Your community setup is complete
You understand how to manage and run your community inside Ivorey
Once the above is done, go ahead and progress to Step 2.
If you're coming from Skool, you can directly import your existing members and posts into your new Ivorey
community! This will also automatically add them as contacts in the CRM.

Done means:
Your existing members have been imported successfully
Your Skool community posts have been imported successfully
Once the above is done, go ahead and progress to Step 4.
If you have any important announcements or general posts that you would like to keep, please copy them and post them to your new community channels. You can pin them to the top if needed.
Done means:
Important posts have been copied over
Any links in copied posts have been checked, and are working correctly
Once the above is done, go ahead and progress to Step 4.
Now it's time to export your contacts or member list from your existing platform, ensuring that your tags are included. If your existing community members aren't already tagged, we recommend adding a tag to ensure you can easily identify your members and automate actions later.

Done means:
All contacts are visible in Ivorey
Tags are attached to the correct contacts
Once the above is done, go ahead and progress to Step 5.
Now it’s time to bring your existing members across, which has two different pathways. Depending on your current setup, your subscription payments will either continue running as normal through your payment processor (e.g. Stripe or PayPal), or you will need to resubscribe your members through your Ivorey
checkout link.

All existing members now have access to your new community
Once the above is done, go ahead and progress to Step 6.
Once all steps above are complete, and your community is fully operational inside Ivorey
, you can go ahead and cancel your subscription.
