This article is one step from our Master Help Guide: All About Opt-In Funnels. We recommend starting with the visual walkthrough video and examples inside the Master Help Guide before diving into the technical setup below.
Each Master Help Guide acts as your project plan - teaching you the feature, laying out the steps in the right order, and linking to every resource you’ll need along the way.
This guide is perfect if you're looking to:
Understand how sections, rows, and elements work together, use the Layers tab to stay organised, and edit pages with confidence
Decide whether to keep, remove, or reuse menus and footers by saving them as Global Sections that update across your site
Customise text, images, buttons, fonts, colours, spacing, and control what shows on desktop versus mobile for full design flexibility
Before you begin customising the opt-in funnel to your branding, we recommend that you read our Site & Page Settings Overview so you can better understand the various settings you'll be making use of inside the Page Editor and then review our Design & Customise Your Site Pages Guide for a full explanation of how Ivorey
pages are built.
From the main Ivorey
menu, go to Site Pages > Funnels > [+ New Funnel] > [From Templates] and you’ll see our full library of opt-in funnel templates in a range of branding styles.
Browse our templates and select the short or long opt-in funnel template that you like most for your brand. Keep in mind that all of our templates are fully customisable. You can change the colours, fonts, images, form questions, and sections. You can delete any sections you don’t need or duplicate ones you want more of
Use the Layers tab for easy reference and editing. All sections are already named for you to help you stay organised
Click Layers (top left) to see your page structure
You can quickly move or rename sections here
Clicking an element on the page will also highlight it in the layers panel
Decide if you want to keep the menu and footer. You can delete them if you want a cleaner, no-distraction page (recommended for opt-in pages where the goal is form completion)
Or, save them as global sections so they appear the same on both funnel pages. To save as a global section:
Click on the section > click the [folder icon] > [Save as Global Section] and name it something like GS – Menu or GS – Footer
You’ll now be able to reuse it on other pages (like your thank you page) without rebuilding it. To access it on the other page, you'll find it under Elements > Global Sections and be able to drag and drop it onto the page.
Using this option, any changes you make to the global section (on either page) will update the other page that it's on
Customise any element on the page. Please refer to our Design & Customise Your Site Pages guide to understand how our site/page builder works, and for all the steps on how to customise your funnel pages
Once you've created your funnel pages, you'll need to hit [Publish] on each page. The [Settings] tab of your funnel is where you can choose the domain you want this funnel to live on, change the page name, and set the final URL that you will send people to
Go to the Settings tab in your funnel > connect your domain (only if you're ready - see our Domains Master Guide for assistance with this) > set the path/URL (e.g. /free-workbook) so your full link looks like: yourdomain.com/free-workbook > add any tracking pixels if needed > press [Save]
Now click [Edit Page] in the Opt-In Page to load the Page Editor > Click on the [form block] and select the form you created previously (e.g. Free Workbook Form).
On the right hand settings panel, change the form action to: Go to next step in funnel. This will send people to the thank you page (the next step in your funnel) after they complete the form
Not everyone will fill out the form at the top of your page, which is why we have added many buttons to provide more chances to opt-in. We suggest using the pop-up form feature as follows:
Click on all of the buttons on the page. In the right panel, make sure the action is set to: Open Pop-Up
Click on the [Popup Settings] icon on the top bar of the page, and link the same form you created in Step 1. Ensure the popup is enabled in the settings panel
Click on the form you just added into the popup, and ensure the form action is set to: Go to next step in funnel. This will send people to the thank you page (the next step in your funnel) after they complete the form
Now it's time to adjust your SEO settings for the page:
Inside the Page Builder, click on the [SEO Settings] icon on the top bar
Update the page title, description, author name, and add a social image
(This controls how your page appears when shared online)
Yes! You can save them as Global Sections so they appear on multiple pages. Any changes made to a global section will automatically update on all pages where it’s used.
Click any element (text, image, button, or background) to open the settings panel. From there, you can change fonts, colors, images, adjust spacing, make borders rounded or square, and more.
Yes! In the Styles tab, toggle visibility icons to show or hide elements on desktop or mobile.
Use the Typography tab to set your headline and body fonts. This updates all matching fonts on the page in one click.
Use Margin & Padding settings:
Inner box (Padding): space inside an element (e.g., inside a button)
Outer box (Margin): space outside an element (e.g., between sections)
