Your forms, surveys, and quizzes are working in the background collecting responses - this guide shows you where those submissions all land and what you can do with them.
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Find and review submissions from any of your forms, surveys or quizzes
View an individual submission in detail
Export submissions to a CSV
Once someone submits your form, survey or quiz, Ivorey
captures their response and also automatically creates or updates a contact record for them in your CRM.
From the Ivorey
main menu, go to Site Pages > then along the top menu bar, hover over either Forms or Surveys or Quizzes (depending on what you’re looking for) > and click [Submissions]
In the top left corner, use the selector drop-down to switch between your different forms, surveys, or quizzes, to view submissions for each one, or choose to view submissions for [All Forms/Surveys/Quiz]
In the top right corner:
Use the date selector to filter submissions by a specific date range. You can select custom dates or use the quick options (e.g. This Week, Last 30 Days, This Year) > click [Confirm] to apply
Click the ︎[⟳] refresh icon to reload the submissions table and make sure you're seeing the most up-to-date data
Search for specific contact submissions
Click the [
Manage Columns] button to select which fields should appear in the main table
Click the [Export] button to download all submissions for the selected form, survey, or quiz as a CSV file (useful for reporting, sharing with a team member, or importing into another tool)
In the main table:
Click the [⤢] expand icon on any submission, to open the detailed view > review the date and time of the submission, the contact’s details, form/survey/quiz answers (and score for quizzes), and submission source data
Click the [⤓] download icon to save the submission as a PDF > and choose between the New PDF Layout (cleaner, optimised for sharing) or the Old PDF Layout (basic text)
Click the contact icon on any submission, to be directed straight to their contact profile in the CRM
Click the [⧉] copy icon next to the email address, on any submission, to copy it
Tick the checkbox on any submission (or select all) to bulk Download the selected submissions as a CSV, or Delete them if needed
Note: You can also find submissions for any specific contact, by navigating to their contact profile in Contacts > and checking their Activity log. Please refer to our Understand Contact Profiles guide for the details.
Submissions from embedded forms, surveys and quizzes come through to the same place (Site Pages > Forms/Surveys/Quizzes > Submissions) regardless of where it was submitted from.
No, partial submissions are not captured unless the contact reaches the final submission step. If you're using a multi-step form for lead capture and want to follow up with people who start but don't finish, consider placing an email capture field early in the form and combining it with a Form Workflow to re-engage them. This approach isn't typically applicable to surveys or quizzes, which are usually completed in full or not at all.
Yes, the submission source is recorded and visible in Submissions > expanded submission view, and in the contact's Activity tab inside the CRM.
Each submission is recorded separately in Submissions. In the CRM, the contact record is updated rather than duplicated, as long as the email address matches an existing contact.
