Sales FunnelsBefore you steam ahead setting up, here's some good-to-know information that will help you determine if a sales funnel is the best fit for your goals.
A Sales Funnel is a guided series of pages designed to sell a product, service, or offer. Unlike a traditional website, where visitors can click around freely, a funnel leads them step-by-step through a focused journey - usually ending in a purchase.
A simple sales funnel usually looks like this:
Sales Page: You promote your offer, explain its benefits, and encourage visitors to buy.
Checkout Page: You embed an order form where people can enter their details and make payment.
Thank You Page: You confirm the purchase and either deliver the product directly, give next steps (like checking their email), or even include a calendar to book a call.
Workflow Automation: Once someone buys, a workflow tags the contact, sends a confirmation or welcome email, and notifies you of the sale - all automatically.
This setup helps you streamline the buying process, boost conversions, and automate the delivery experience. If you're not selling anything (yet!), start with an Opt-In Funnel instead.
Sales funnels are powerful and perfect for selling courses, coaching, masterminds, fixed-price packages and more - but they’re not for every use case.
If you’re selling multiple products on one page and need 'add to cart' functionality: In this case, use the Online Store instead which allows customers to browse, add to cart, and check out with multiple products all at once.
If your offer needs custom pricing: Use Proposals and Invoicing for offers that need tailored pricing, inclusions or approval before purchase.

Yes! You could use an alternative domain, or setup a subdomain such as offers.yourdomain.com or similar. Please refer to our Domains Master Help guide.
Most funnels usually don’t need a menu, because funnels are designed to guide users through a specific journey without distractions. Menus are mainly for websites, where users need to navigate multiple pages.
Yes, you can host both your website and funnels on the same domain in Ivorey. Here's how it works:
If you're building a website on Ivorey, you can use your main domain (e.g. yourdomain.com) for it
You can use this same domain for all your funnels, online store, and blog - as long as they're built in Ivorey
When publishing funnels, you can simply create different URL paths under your main domain. For example, yourdomain.com/funnel-name
Alternatively - if your main domain is already being used on an external platform (not Ivorey) and you want to keep it live, then you can use a subdomain like offers.yourdomain.com for your Ivorey website and funnels
There are a few ways you can check to see if your contact has completed your two step order form and made payment successfully:
To see a contacts activity within your account, go to [Contacts] > look up their name > click into their contact profile > then on the right hand side you will be able to see their activity lodged under the Activity tab
To see any payments a contact has made within your account, go to [Contacts] > look up their name > click into their contact profile > then on the right hand side click on the [$] icon located on the far right across from the activity tab
You can also see any transactions made inside your Account by clients and customers by going to [Payments] > [Transactions]
If you are noticing that your customers are filling out your order form, but not submitting payment you can:
Change your Order Form to a One Step instead of a Two Step order form so that their details and payments are collected in one action
Create an Abandon Cart Workflow by following Step 8: (Optional) Create your Abandon Cart Workflow of the Funnels Guide above
