Ask AI

Two things help Ask AI feel tailored to you. Your Brand Voice gives it your tone, services, and messaging, so the content it writes sounds like you rather than generic copy. Setting this up first makes a real difference to the quality of what you get back.

Ask AI also has a memory. As you chat, it quietly saves useful, reusable details, like your role, your business, and your preferences, so you don't have to repeat yourself every time. You’ll notice it sometimes seems to remember earlier conversations. You're always in control of what it keeps, and you can review or clear these memories whenever you like.

Currently, Ask AI can:

• Answer questions and generate ideas - get quick answers, content ideas, CTA suggestions, or guidance on how to approach a task
  

• Manage your account - create contacts, apply tags, update opportunities, reschedule appointments, manage custom objects and fields, and more from a simple prompt
  

• Manage conversations - start a new conversation, review and update its status, or pull call logs and transcripts
  

• Summarise a contact - pull together a contact's conversations, appointments, payments, and tasks without manually checking each tab
  

• Build a course - set up a full course and course offer through a guided chat conversation
  

• Build a funnel - create a funnel through a guided AI experience using your business details and branding
  

• Set up products, payments, and orders - create products and pricing, connect Stripe, generate invoices and estimates, and manage orders
  

• Manage your integrations - link Facebook, Instagram, and Google Calendar, purchase a phone number, or handle regulatory/compliance steps
  

• Generate on-brand content - write emails, SEO-friendly blog posts, social posts, ads, and captions using your Brand Voice
  

• Generate and edit images - create visuals from a written description and refine them through follow-up prompts
  

• Run scheduled tasks - set recurring prompts to run automatically and save the results for you
  

• Set up AI agents - create a Voice AI, Conversation AI or Reviews AI Agent, and build a Knowledge Base to power more accurate responses
  

• Get an overview of your business - generate a summary of your key metrics, trends, and actionable insights
  

• Browse the web - open pages, search online, and extract information or complete tasks, using the Chrome browser extension
  

• Connect to third-party apps or tools - fetch information or run tasks directly in your connected external apps, without you needing to leave Ivorey™

• File/image storage - Any content uploaded to or generate by Ask AI won’t be automatically saved to your media library in Ivorey™. You can get Ask AI to add them to the media library for you, download generated images to your device directly, and they will remain available inside the thread to access later.
  

• Supported features only - Ask AI can only take actions within the areas Ivorey™ currently supports. It can't build or edit workflows directly (use the Workflow AI Builder for this), create communities, or manage your client portal.

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI, for a full-screen workspace to focus on bigger tasks, or for quick access from anywhere in Ivorey™, click the [Ask AI] button in the top right corner

2. Choose how you'd like to start:

   1. Type your prompt into the message box, or click the 🎙 microphone icon to speak it out loud. Example prompts:

      1. Write a Facebook post for my spring promotion using my brand voice

      2. Give me five blog post ideas about email marketing

      3. Show me tomorrow's booked appointments

   2. Or click to the [Templates] tab to browse ready-made prompts for common tasks > select one > and Ask AI will take it from there, asking for any extra details it needs along the way. A few examples include:

      1. Connect your Google Calendar and create a new booking calendar

      2. Create an invoice and send to client and record incoming payment

      3. Create a name pipeline with custom stages and add your first deal

      4. Auto-generate course structure and create category and first lesson

3. (optional) Click the [+] plus icon to upload an image or file (PDF/Word) from your device, or paste in a URL to use as a reference or to include in the task

4. Press Enter or click the [↑] arrow icon button to submit your prompt

5. Review the response > and keep the conversation going with follow-up prompts (Ask AI remembers the context of your chat as you go)

6. While Ask AI is thinking, you can press the [◾] square icon to stop Ask AI from processing a prompt > you can then type in a new prompt

7. If you’re using the full screen Ask AI space, click the [◧] window icon, to open the left-hand side panel:

   1. To begin a separate conversation or task, click the [📝 New chat] button

   2. To return to an earlier conversation, click on any thread under the Recents drop-down menu, or click to [Search] for the thread

      1. Click the [⋮] three dots on any thread, to [Rename] it or [Delete] it

8. If you’re using the quick access Ask AI panel, in the top right corner:

   1. Click the 💬 speech bubbles icon to open a new conversation

   2. Click the 🕓 clock icon to access a previous conversation

   3. Click the [⤢] arrows icon to open the conversation in full screen (click again to return back to the side panel view again)

   4. Click the [X] to close the Ask AI panel (your conversation will be there to access any time)

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > click New chat > and describe the course you want to build, for example:

   1. Create a 5-module course on email marketing for small business owners, with 3 lessons per module

   2. Build a course called The Confident Leader Lab based on my attached materials, with a welcome module and a drip schedule that unlocks one module per week

2. Ask AI will generate a course outline for you to review > reply to ask for any changes or to approve, before it builds the full structure (e.g. rename module 1 to “Getting Started”)

3. Once you confirm, Ask AI will create the course, modules, lessons, and any quizzes or assessments inside your Ivorey™ account

4. Get Ask AI to help you configure your course settings, for example ask it to:

   1. Set this course to drip one module per week

   2. Set the price for this course to [price and currency] per month

   3. Add an instructor bio for [your name]

5. Always review and test a course before publishing or sharing the link - refer to our Course guides for the details

Note: Ask AI will ask for confirmation before making any significant changes and won't delete content without a clear instruction, so you can experiment freely without worrying about losing your work.

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > click New chat > type a description of the image you want (e.g. Generate an image of a sunny beach yoga class for a wellness brand) > you can add a design style if you like, such as "realistic", "cartoon", or "3D" > and press Enter

2. After a few seconds, Ask AI will generate your image > type an edit instruction into the prompt field below the image, to refine it (e.g. add soft morning light or make the background brighter) > and press Enter

3. You can keep refining as many times as you like

4. Once you're happy with your image, click the [↓] down arrow, in the bottom left corner to download the image to your device, so you can use it

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > click New chat > write a clear prompt describing the post you want (the more detail you give, the better the draft), try to include:

   1. Your topic and who it's for

   2. Roughly how long you'd like it (e.g. around 1,000 words)

   3. Your tone of voice (e.g. warm and professional)

   4. Any keywords or a call to action you'd like included
      
      Example: “Write a 1,000-word blog post for busy founders on how to stay consistent on social media. Warm but professional tone. Include headings and a call to action to book a discovery call.”

2. (optional) Paste in a URL or add an image for extra context > and tell Ask AI how to use it (e.g. use this page for context on my services)

3. Press Enter to submit your prompt > and review the draft

4. Ask for changes if you need them, such as "shorten the intro" or "make it more story-driven"

5. When you're happy, copy the draft > and paste it into a new post in your blog to format > add images > set your SEO details > and publish - refer to our Create a Blog Post guide for the detailed steps

Note: Ask AI can pull in recent information from the web for current topics, but always read through and fact-check your draft before publishing.

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > click New chat > and type what you'd like Ask AI to build
   
   Example: "Create a knowledge base from my website [paste in URL] and attach it to my Conversation AI"

2. Confirm the content source when prompted

   1. Ask AI may want to use your Brand Voice, suggest your website, or let you enter a different URL

   2. It always asks before crawling any website

3. Let Ask AI create the knowledge base (if you've chosen a website, it adds it as a source and begins gathering the content automatically)

4. If prompted, choose whether to generate FAQs from your business information (you can also add these later)

5. Choose where to attach your knowledge base:

   1. An existing or new Conversation AI bot (these can use more than one knowledge base) - refer to our Conversation AI guide for the details

   2. An existing Voice AI agent (these use one knowledge base each)

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > click the [◧] window icon, to open the left-hand side panel > and click [Scheduled]

2. Click [+ New task] > and fill in your task details:

   1. Name: a clear label (e.g. Monday content brief)

   2. Description: (optional) give more information about the task

   3. Prompt: exactly what you want Ask AI to do (e.g. Give me three content ideas for this week based on my brand voice)

   4. Frequency: choose how often it runs - Hourly, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekly

3. Click [Save]

4. You can also create a scheduled task straight from a chat by asking (e.g. Send me a summary of new leads every weekday at 9 am) > and Ask AI will set it up for you

5. Your task appears in the list with its next run time shown in your local time > and will also display in the left-hand sidebar, under the Scheduled drop-down

6. When a task runs, open it from your task list to read the result > a 🔵 blue circle marker shows you when a new result is waiting

   1. Click the 📝 note icon to edit the task > click [Save Changes]

   2. Click the 🗑 trash icon to delete the task

   3. Click the [▶ Run Now] button to run the task immediately

   4. Under Repeats, toggle it OFF to pause > and ON to resume (pausing stops it running until you resume it, without losing your past results)

1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > and click [Account] at the bottom left

2. On the Personalization tab, next to Memory, click the [Manage] button

3. Review the list of saved memories, or search to find a specific one

4. Click the 🗑 trash icon, next to any specific memory, to remove anything that's outdated or no longer useful

5. In the top right corner:

   1. Click the [≡] lines icon to sort by newest or oldest first

   2. Click the 🗑 trash icon, to delete all memories

   3. Click the [↑ Import Memories] button, to type or paste in anything you want Ask AI to remember about you or your business

      1. Copy the provided prompt > and paste it into your existing AI assistant (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc.), to get a summary of your business from those existing threads

Note: You can import up to 100 memories at a time, and any duplicates are skipped automatically.

No, a scheduled Ask AI task will not email you with the result by default. It runs your prompt and saves the result to its history for you to read. It will only send an email or message if your prompt specifically asks it to, and your account is set up to send internal notifications and/or emails.

Yes, alongside writing content and answering questions, Ask AI can carry out supported actions from chat when you ask, such as creating a contact, applying tags, or updating a pipeline.

No, each user only sees their own Ask AI chat history, even when sharing the same Ivorey™ account.
