Before You Dive In

This article is one step from our Master Help Guide: All About Communities. We recommend starting with the visual walkthrough video and examples inside the Master Help Guide before diving into the technical breakdown below.

Each Master Help Guide acts as your project plan - teaching you the feature, laying out the steps in the right order, and linking to every resource you'll need along the way.

This guide is perfect if you want to:

  • Track your community earnings and member growth over time

  • Identify inactive members so you can reconnect with them

  • Discover when your members are most active, so you can plan posts and events

  • See how many people are visiting and engaging with your community

View Your Community Analytics

You can view insights for different time periods and compare them with the previous period to see how things are trending, and export certain data.

Click here for the written steps
  1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Courses > along the top menu bar, hover over Communities > select [Groups] > and click [Login] on your community group

  2. Once inside, go to the [Settings] tab along the top menu bar > then click [Analytics] from the side menu

  3. Select the time period you want to view:

    1. Choose from the options along the top of the dashboard (e.g. Today, Yesterday, 30 days, 12 months)

    2. Choose your own date range, click [Custom] > set your From and To dates > and click [Apply] to view your results for those dates

      1. To remove your selected dates and start again, open the [Custom] drop-down > and click [Clear]

  4. To make sure you are viewing the most up-to-date figures, click the [⟳] refresh arrow next to Last updated, in the top right-hand corner of the dashboard

  5. To download a list of members who had no activity during the selected period, click the [Export] button on the Inactive members card

Understand Your Community Analytics Dashboard

Each card on your dashboard shows results for the time period you have selected. Most cards also show the percentage change compared with the previous period (e.g. vs. prior 30 days), so you can quickly see what’s growing. Here’s what you can view on your community Analytics dashboard:

  • Total earnings - Your community revenue from all sources, during the selected period

  • Total members - Everyone in your community, plus the number of new members who joined during the period

  • Inactive members - Members with no activity during the period, along with a bar showing the percentage of active and inactive members. You can export this list to help you reconnect with these members

  • Invitation pending - The number of email invitations to your community that are still pending

  • Traffic - The number of people who visited your community, with a breakdown of where your visitors came from

  • Peak activity hours - A heatmap showing when your members are most active across each day and hour, displayed in your timezone. Darker squares mean higher activity, and the ✨Best badge in the top right-hand corner highlights your best time block

  • Engagement - The posts, comments and reactions from your members during the period

  • Engagement trend - Your total interactions over the selected period, compared with the previous period

💡 Insider tip: Use your Peak activity hours to plan when to share content or go live inside your community, so more of your members can see and join in.
