Our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server allows AI tools and agents, like Claude, to connect directly to your Ivorey
account - so your AI can read contacts, update pipelines, book appointments, pull conversation history, and more, all from inside the AI tool itself. This essentially acts as the bridge between your external AI tool and your Ivorey
account and data.
Once connected, your AI agent can interact with your Ivorey
account, with no need to open the platform or click through menus manually. Examples of what it can do:
Search for and update contacts
Read and send messages in conversations
View and update pipeline opportunities
Check calendar availability and book appointments
Pull reporting data and activity logs
Our MCP server connection supports MCP-compatible applications that can connect through HTTP, this includes:
Claude Browser, Desktop and Code
OpenAI Playground
Cursor
Windsurf
Custom MCP-compatible applications
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Connect Claude (or another AI agent) to your Ivorey
account via MCP
Give your AI agent read and/or write access to your account
Use your AI tool to manage your Ivorey
data
account. Only enable the permissions you are comfortable with, and always review Claude's actions carefully.
via MCPThe connection between your Ivorey
and Claude account can be set up directly inside Claude (on browser or desktop).
Open your Claude account on browser or via the desktop app > click [Customize] in the left-hand sidebar > and select [Connectors]
Click the [+] plus icon > and select [Add custom connector]
In the Name field, type in what you want the connection to be called (e.g. Ivorey) > and in the Remote MCP server URL field, paste in the following URL: https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/v2
Leave the Advanced Settings fields blank > and click the [Add] button
Once your custom connector is created, on the right-hand side, click the [Connect] button
You will be redirected to a login page for LeadConnector > log in using your usual Ivorey
account login details (for the account you want to connect) > and click the [Next] button at the bottom of the page (in the upcoming steps you will be able to disable write/delete permissions if you don’t want to Claude to be able to make changes)
Select the Ivorey
account you want to connect, from the drop-down
Configure the permissions, to either [Always Allow], [Needs Approval] or [Blocked], for each access tool:
Fetch Records - Retrieve specific records from your Ivorey
account (e.g. a specific contact, opportunity, or calendar event)
Search Records - Search across your Ivorey
data using filters or keywords (e.g. find all contacts with a specific tag, or search for a contact by name or email)
Search Operations - Discover what actions and operations are available to perform across your Ivorey
account (e.g. what can Claude do with contacts, calendars, conversations)
Execute Operations - Make changes to your Ivorey
account (e.g. create or update contacts, add tags, book appointments, send messages)
Note: If you want Claude to be read-only, set Execute Operations to [Needs Approval] or [Blocked]. This means Claude can look things up but cannot make changes without your explicit sign-off. You can update these permissions at any time.
In the top right corner, click the [⋮] three dots > and select [Refresh tools list] to save your permissions
Note: You can return here to adjust and refresh your permissions at any time.
Your Claude is now connected to Ivorey
- click the [+] plus icon in any chat > hover over Connectors > and toggle on your Ivorey custom connector to enable it for that conversation > then ask Claude anything about your Ivorey
account
It’s possible for your AI agent to read data and make changes inside your account, depending on the permissions you enable. View permissions allow reading only, but Edit permissions allow the agent to make changes. Only enable Edit permissions for areas you are comfortable with the AI agent updating.
If you are on Claude’s Free plan, your account will be limited to one custom connector - confirm if you already have in place, and consider whether you need to upgrade plans or if you can remove the existing custom connector.
If you are on Claude’s Team or Enterprise plans, only an account admin will have permissions to create a custom connector. Please ask your Claude account admin to create the connector, at which point you should be able to go in and connect it to your Ivorey
account.
Only one Ivorey
account can be connected to one Claude account at a time.
Yes, Claude Code is also supported, but the setup process for Claude Code is different and requires editing a configuration file on your computer. Please reach out to our support team via the chat widget and we will guide you through the process.
If you are using a different AI tool that supports MCP, you can use the same Ivorey
MCP server URL. Refer to that tool's documentation for how to add a custom MCP connection, or reach out to their support for guidance.
