Our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server allows AI tools and agents, like Claude, to connect directly to your Ivorey™ account - so your AI can read contacts, update pipelines, book appointments, pull conversation history, and more, all from inside the AI tool itself. This essentially acts as the bridge between your external AI tool and your Ivorey™ account and data.
Once connected, Claude can interact with your Ivorey™ account, with no need to open the platform or click through menus manually. Depending on the permissions you choose to allow, this could include:
Contacts - search, create, update, and delete contacts; manage tags, notes, tasks, followers, and appointments; look up duplicates; and assign contacts to businesses
Messages - read, send, create, update, and search conversations across all channels; check message status
Pipelines & Opportunities - view and manage pipelines, search and create opportunities, update pipeline stages, manage followers, and log lost reasons
Calendars & Appointments - check availability, book and manage appointments, manage calendar groups, resources, services, and blocked slots
Payments - view orders, subscriptions, transactions, and coupons
Products & Store - manage products, prices, collections, inventory, and store settings
Invoices & Estimates - create, send, view, and void invoices and estimates; manage templates and schedules

Custom MCP-compatible applications
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Connect Claude (or another AI) to your Ivorey™ account via MCP
Give your AI tool read and/or write access to your account
Use your AI tool to manage your Ivorey™ data
The connection between your Ivorey™ and Claude account can be set up directly inside Claude (on browser or desktop), using our dedicate Claude MCP endpoint.
Open your Claude account on browser or via the desktop app (or your Claude Cowork account) > click [Customize] in the left-hand sidebar > and select [Connectors]
Click the [+] plus icon > and select [Add custom connector]
In the Name field, type in what you want the connection to be called (e.g. Ivorey) > and in the Remote MCP server URL field, paste in the following URL: https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/anthropic/v2
Note: If you are connecting a different external AI tool (e.g ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.), please use the URL: https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/ - dedicated endpoints for other external platforms are being developed.
Leave the Advanced Settings fields blank > and click the [Add] button
Once your custom connector is created, in the right-hand window, click the [Connect] button
You will be redirected to a LeadConnector Installation page, click [Install] > and log in using your usual Ivorey™ account login details (for the account you want to connect)
Click the [↓] drop-down arrow next to each listed area inside of your Ivorey account (e.g. Contacts, Calendars, etc.) > and check the boxes of the specific Read and Write permissions that you want to enable
Note: These permissions control what actions Claude can take. With read-only permissions, Claude can look up and read your account data, search your contacts, conversations, records, and answer questions, but it can’t make any changes. With write permissions enabled, Claude can create, edit, rename, or delete items within the scopes/areas you've allowed.
After permissions are configured, click the [Allow & Install] button, at the bottom > you will be redirected back to your Claude account
Inside the custom connector settings, in Claude, choose how Claude should use the available tools:
Read-only - Describe Operation, Fetch Records, Search Records, and Search Operations
Write/delete - Execute Operation
Select either [Always Allow], [Needs Approval] or [Blocked], for each of the tools > or use the drop-down to set the rules for the entire group of Read-Only and Write/Delete tools
Note: If you want to control when Claude can and can’t make changes to your Ivorey™ account, set the Write/Delete tools to [Needs Approval]. This means Claude can look things up but can’t make changes without your explicit sign-off.
In the top right corner, click the [⋮] three dots > and select [Refresh tools list] to save your settings
Note: You can return here to adjust and refresh the tool settings at any time. To reconfigure the permission scopes for the connection, you can click the [Disconnect] button, at the top > click the [Connect] button > and repeat the steps above to select the permissions you want to enable.
Click the [←] back arrow, at the top > and make sure there is a ✔ tick icon in the Status column for your new Ivorey™ connector - your Claude is now connected to Ivorey™ 🎉
Click the [X] exit button, in the top right corner > and open a new chat or an existing chat inside Claude
Click the [+] plus icon in any chat > hover over Connectors > and toggle ON your Ivorey™ custom connector, to enable it for that conversation > then ask Claude anything about your Ivorey™ account, to test the connection
If you set any tools to Needs Approval, Claude may prompt you to approve a tool > click either [Always Allow], [Deny] or click the [↓] drop-down arrow > and select [Allow Once]
Note: We recommend selecting Allow Once, if you want Claude to continue requesting approval before using that tool.
Only one Ivorey™ account can be connected to one Claude account at a time.
If you are on Claude’s Free plan, your account will be limited to one custom connector - confirm if you already have in place, and consider whether you need to upgrade plans or if you can remove the existing custom connector.
If you are on Claude’s Team or Enterprise plans, only an account admin will have permissions to create a custom connector. Please ask your Claude account admin to create the connector, at which point you should be able to go in and connect it to your Ivorey™ account.
You can’t automatically undo Claude’s actions inside your Ivorey™ account. Changes made by Claude follow the same rules as any other changes made inside your account - some things can be undone manually (e.g. removing a tag or deleting a note), but others (e.g. sent messages) can’t be reversed.
We recommend reviewing your permissions carefully before enabling Write access, and always double-checking Claude's actions before approving them. If you'd prefer Claude to suggest changes without making them automatically, set your Write/Delete tools to [Needs Approval] so you can review each action before it's carried out.
If you are using a different AI tool that supports MCP instead of Claude, you can connect it using the URL: https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/
Refer to that external tool's documentation for how to add a custom MCP connection, or reach out to their support for guidance.
Note: The original endpoint works with any HTTP-based MCP client but has more limited coverage than the Claude-specific endpoint. For the widest range of capabilities, Claude is currently the recommended option. Dedicated endpoints for other external platforms, like the one we have for Claude, are being developed.
