If you're following best practice, you would have created a workflow for any product that you sell through Ivorey
so that you can tag the contact and take any other actions. One step many users love to do is send themselves a notification of the purchase too.
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Send a payment notification to your Ivorey
desktop or app
Send a payment notification email to yourself or another team member
instead - please follow the steps below
Navigate to your post-purchase workflow for this particular product.
Add a new action step called [Internal Notification] > then select the type of notification you prefer:
If you select [Notification] as your internal notification type, this will notify you inside the Ivorey
Notifications only. You can find these by clicking on the
bell icon at the top right of your screen
If you select [Email] as your internal notification type, you can then choose who/where you would like the email to be sent to under the drop down menu 'To User Type' (here you can select 'custom email' and add the exact email address you want the email notification to be sent to)
Set who you would like to receive the notification (e.g. all users, just yourself, or another user of your account).
Type the message you would like to receive, (e.g. Congratulations! {{contact.name}} has just purchased [insert your product name])
Toggle your workflow on to [Publish] at the top right hand corner, and click the [Save] button
