This guide walks you through creating your Video Collector, sharing it with your clients, managing the videos you receive, and showcasing them on your website.
Video Testimonials is a Reputation feature that allows you to collect customer video reviews using shareable, branded “Video Collectors”. Contacts can record or upload a video from desktop or mobile (no app required). Collected videos can then be reviewed internally and showcased on your site using the Review Widget. Video Testimonials allow you to collect authentic, on-camera customer feedback using a simple, shareable link which will help you build trust faster and showcase real results.
Keep questions simple - short prompts create more natural responses
Avoid scripting - authenticity converts better than perfection
Specific collectors - use separate collectors for different offers or audiences
Set expectations - let your clients know what your expectations are for the testimonial
For the best results, your video testimonials should come off authentic - in your client’s own words. Overly polished production may seem ingenuine and more like an ad.

Your Video Collector is the experience your customer will go through when recording their testimonial. This is where you guide the story and ensure the quality of what’s submitted.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Reputation > Video Testimonials > and then [Create Collector]
Now configure each section of your collector:
Welcome Page
Add your Public Collector Title
(Optional) Enable a spokesperson image
Add a short “How it Works” description
Add a welcome message introducing the testimonial
Questionnaire Page
Add up to 3 questions to guide your customer
Keep these short and clear (e.g. “What result did you achieve?”)
Attribution Page
After your questions, we ask respondents to identify themselves, or to confirm their info when it's been preloaded with a personalised link.
Add a headline and message
Collect customer details such as:
Name
Phone number
Thank You Page
Add a closing message
Optionally include your email or next steps
Branding
Upload your logo
Customise colours (background, text, buttons, accents)
Click [Save]
Click [Preview] to test your collector experience before sharing
Once your collector is ready, the next step is getting it in front of your customers.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Reputation > Video Testimonials > Collectors and you can now:
Option 1: Copy Link
Click [Copy Link]
Paste into: Emails, DMs, chat conversations, social posts
Option 2: Send Review Request
Click [Send Review Request] or the share icon
Select your contact
Choose your sending method:
SMS
(Optional) Use Override Video Link to select a specific collector
Click [Send Review Request]
Once responses start coming in, you’ll be able to view and manage them in one place.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Reputation > Video Testimonials > and click [Responses]
Click on a video to preview it
Click [Download] to save it for:

Organise videos internally for different campaigns or use cases
This is where your testimonials start working for you: building trust and increasing conversions.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Reputation > Widgets > and click [Create Widget] or edit an existing widget
Set Review Type to Video Testimonials
Select your Video Testimonial Source (collector)
Choose your layout:
List
Carousel
Grid
Slider
Column
Adjust settings as needed > Click [Save]
Copy the embed code and include it on all site pages where you would like the widget to appear
Your video testimonials will now display on your website
No. They can record or upload directly from desktop or mobile using the collector link.
The maximum length of video testimonials is up to 2 minutes 30 seconds per submission.
You may have up to 3 questions in a video collector.
Yes. Use the Video testimonial received trigger in your workflow to send an automated Email or SMS notification automatically when a video is submitted.
