Before You Dive In

This article is one step from our Master Help Guide: All About Social Scheduling. We recommend starting with the visual walkthrough video and examples inside the Master Help Guide before diving into the technical setup below.

Each Master Help Guide acts as your project plan - teaching you the feature, laying out the steps in the right order, and linking to every resource you’ll need along the way.

This guide is perfect if you're looking to:

  • View, edit, or clone your planned content

  • Manage your comments and stay up to date about what's trending

  • Review your post insights and performance

  • Manage your social planner notifications

  • Shorten your links

  • Add watermarks to your content

Managing Your Social Content

  5. Upload your image or video. Want to post a carousel? Just select multiple images and Ivorey will automatically format them as a swipe-able post on Instagram

  9. Publish, Submit or Schedule Your Post

    2. Or choose a date and time to schedule the post
You can also set this post to repeat on a regular schedule (e.g. every Tuesday at 10AM).

TIP: The Calendar View gives you a visual layout of what’s published, scheduled, or in draft - so it’s easy to see what’s going live and when.

The Link Shortener in Ivorey™ makes long, messy URLs clean and trackable - perfect for social posts with limited characters or when you want to monitor link clicks and engagement. You can create shortened links directly inside your post, or pre-build them with custom tracking for campaigns.

Click here for the written steps

Click [+ New Post] > then [+ Create New Post]

  4. (Optional) If you’d like to track this link under a specific campaign, choose or create a campaign before generating the link.

  5. Click [Create] and the shortened link will be generated. It will appear in the preview, while the content box still displays your original long URL

  6. Complete the rest of your post: add your caption, media, hashtags, etc.
You can add the shortened link anywhere within your post or include it as the first comment.

  7. Click [Post Now] to publish immediately, or schedule it for a future time.

Watermark Posts in the Social Planner

Adding a watermark to your social posts ensures your content stays protected and on-brand - no matter where it’s shared. The Ivorey™ Social Planner lets you upload a custom watermark and apply it to your images and videos with just one click.

  7. Customise your watermark settings:

    • Alignment: Choose where you want it placed (e.g. top right, bottom left, center)

    • Opacity: Set transparency so it complements your content

    • Scale: Adjust how large or small the watermark appears

    • Auto Padding: Turn on/off spacing around the watermark

  8. Create a new post as usual inside the Social Planner

  9. Under [Advanced Options], toggle the watermark feature on or off
Note: Watermarks are ON by default and apply to both images and videos
