The Link Shortener in Ivorey
makes long, messy URLs clean and trackable - perfect for social posts with limited characters or when you want to monitor link clicks and engagement. You can create shortened links directly inside your post, or pre-build them with custom tracking for campaigns.
From the Ivorey
main menu, go to [Marketing] > [Social Planner]
Click [+ New Post] > then [+ Create New Post]
In the post editor, click the [
] Link icon to open the Link Shortener panel
Give your link a name (for internal tracking), and paste in the long destination URL. Optionally, add UTM parameters or custom tags
(Optional) If you’d like to track this link under a specific campaign, choose or create a campaign before generating the link
Click [Create] and the shortened link will be generated. It will appear in the preview, while the content box still displays your original long URL
Complete the rest of your post: add your caption, media, hashtags, etc.
You can add the shortened link anywhere within your post or include it as the first comment.
Click [Post Now] to publish immediately, or schedule it for a future time
Adding a watermark to your social posts ensures your content stays protected and on-brand - no matter where it’s shared. The Ivorey
Social Planner lets you upload a custom watermark and apply it to your images and videos with just one click.
This is ideal for brand protection, increasing visibility, and keeping your content looking polished and professional.
From the Ivorey
main menu, go to [Marketing] > [Social Planner]
Click the [
] gear icon next to the [New Post] button
Then select the [Watermark] tab from the settings menu
Click [+ Add Watermark]
Name your watermark (e.g. "Main Logo")
Upload your watermark image (200x200px recommended for best results)
Customise your watermark settings:
Alignment: Choose where you want it placed (e.g. top right, bottom left, center)
Opacity: Set transparency so it complements your content
Scale: Adjust how large or small the watermark appears
Auto Padding: Turn on/off spacing around the watermark
Create a new post as usual inside the Social Planner
Under [Advanced Options], toggle the watermark feature on or off
Note: Watermarks are ON by default and apply to both images and videos
You can set up a keyword-based automation using Workflows. For example, when someone comments “YES” on your post, you can trigger a workflow that sends them a personalised DM or lead magnet link automatically. Click here to setup a Social Media Keyword Bot using Workflows.
At the moment, the Social Planner statistics are limited to a 7-day (weekly) view. Currently, there isn’t a built-in option to change the reporting range to monthly within the Social Planner analytics.
This usually happens when the community channels are not synced with the social planner. Whenever a new community channel is created or changes are made to the channel settings such as updating authoring permissions, the system requires a manual sync so the Social Planner can recognise the updates. If the sync has not been performed, scheduled posts may fail even if the user has admin permissions.
How to fix this:
Navigate to the following path inside your account:
Marketing > Social Planner > Settings > Communities
Once there, locate your community group and click the [refresh
] button next to it. This will manually sync the community channels with the Social Planner and allow scheduled posts to publish properly.
If the issue continues after refreshing the community, please reach out to our support team so we can assist further.
If your post was published recently, stats may take a little time to appear, so it’s best to check again after a few hours. If it’s been over 24 hours and you’re still not seeing any data, the most common reason is the type of LinkedIn account used. LinkedIn analytics in Ivorey
only work for LinkedIn company pages.
If you posted from a personal LinkedIn profile, the post will still publish successfully, but stats will not show in the Social Planner. This is because LinkedIn does not provide analytics data for personal profiles through their API. Additionally, demographic data is not supported by LinkedIn’s API. To see stats inside Ivorey
, make sure you connect and post from a LinkedIn company page.
You can manage this through your Instagram integration settings:
Go to Settings > Integrations
Find your connected Instagram account
From here, you have two options depending on your preference:
If you don’t want any Instagram leads to come into Ivorey
, deselect the Instagram account under Manage
If you want to stop messages from creating contacts entirely: Click the three dots > Settings > Instagram Messenger > Disable messages
Please note: This will disable all Instagram conversations from coming into Ivorey
, not just contact creation. This allows you to control whether Instagram interactions create contacts or sync into the platform.
Hit the support chat widget inside Ivorey
