About Community Gamification

Gamification encourages your members to stay active, participate in discussions, and reach milestones. Rewards let you recognise and celebrate members who contribute the most, and can even be tied to perks like free merch, bonus calls, or extra content.

By default, Ivorey™ communities will create leaderboards that celebrate members who are proactively engaging in the community through posting, commenting and liking so this is an optional add on to your leaderboard!


How To Setup Rewards For Your Community

You can create optional rewards to incentivise activity and communication, course participation and more within your community

Time Saver: Once you’ve built one workflow, you can duplicate it for other rewards and just adjust the filters.

  1. To add gamification and rewards to your community, from the main Ivorey™ menu, select [Courses] > along the top menu bar hover over [Communities] > then select [Groups]

  2. Click the [Login] button of your community > then click on the [Settings]

  3. Select the [Gamification & Rewards] tab and follow the prompts

    1. From the [Gamification] dropdown you can add your level names

    2. From the [Rewards] dropdown you can create the rewards you want to gift your members when they reach certain levels

    To deliver rewards when members reach a specific level, you will need to create a workflow for each reward you are offering. The rewards feature inside of your community just manages the reward you are offering, but you will need to actually grant them access/deliver the reward to them via a workflow. To set up your rewards delivery workflow, follow the steps below:

  4. From the main Ivorey™ menu, select [Workflows] > then select [+ Create Workflow]

  5. Start by naming your workflow relevant to your reward and level it's being delivered e.g L3 Community [your reward]

  6. Select the Trigger Community Group Member Leaderboard Level Changed > then use the [Filters] to select [Group] > [is] > [select your community group] > then add a second filter to select [Level] > [is] > [select the level the reward will be given] > then click [Save Trigger]

  7. Now you can add the relevant actions you want to take place when a member reaches this level inside your community. For example you might:

    1. Add Action [Add Contact Tag] to add a tag to your members contact profile

    2. Add Action [Internal Notification] to send yourself or a team member an email or notification that a community member has reached this level

    3. Add Action [Send Email] to deliver the reward via email (e.g it may be a PDF or an invite to book a call with you)

    4. Add Action [Create Task] to create a task for you or a team member if there is action required by you to deliver the reward to your community member

  8. Once you have finished building out your first reward delivery workflow, make sure you toggle it over to [Publish] and click [Save] at the top right of your screen

  9. Continue this process until you have created all the reward delivery workflows you need


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I give physical rewards (like merch) through gamification?

Yes. While Ivorey™ won’t ship items for you, you can use workflows to notify your team when someone hits a level. Then, send their prize manually.

What happens if I delete a reward?

Deleted rewards are permanently removed and won’t show in your community. However, members who already unlocked them won’t lose their level.

Do I have to use workflows for every reward?

Yes, workflows are required to actually deliver rewards (emails, calls, tags, etc.). The community tab only tracks who qualifies.

Can I turn off the community board?

At this stage, the community leaderboard cannot be disabled. This happens automatically to encourage participation inside the community as it based purely on engagement (likes, comments etc). However rewards are completely optional and will not be enabled unless you explicitly set them up.
