What is a Blog RSS feed?
A Blog RSS feed maintains a list of new content on your blog. This list will be automatically provided to individuals who are subscribed to that feed. In Email Marketing, you can create an email template that includes your RSS feed, which can automatically send out updates about your blog.
Step 1: Setup the RSS Feed
Navigate to Site Pages > Blogs.
Ensure your blog is in live mode, not draft.
Select the gear icon for Settings > then the 'RSS Tab'.
Press the [Add RSS Feed] button and enter the following details:
Feed name
Select your blog
Number of posts (the maximum is 100)
Load full blog content or just summaries
Copy the link of your new RSS Feed and press [Add].
Step 2: Setup an Email Campaign
Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaign > [Create New].
Use an existing email template or start from [Blank] with the [Design Editor] function.
Inside the email template, select the + icon to add a new element, and then drag the [RSS Header] and [RSS Items] into the email design.
Once the email has been designed and is ready to send, select the [Send or Schedule] button on the top right.
On the email scheduling screen, select the [RSS Schedule] option and then paste in the RSS Feed URL that was given during the setup of the RSS Feed.(If you need to locate this URL, you can go back to Site Pages > Blogs > Settings gear icon > RSS Feeds)
Select the schedule you would like this email to regularly send, for example you may select daily or once per week.
Follow the rest of the on-screen prompts as per usual email sending, and then select [Preview] to review your final email. Be sure to check both the Desktop and Mobile views.
Once you're happy with your design, select the [Review and Schedule] button.
