Blog RSS Feeds

1. From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Site Pages > Blogs > in the top right corner, click the ⚙ gear icon for Settings > then click on the [RSS] tab​

2. Click the [+ Add RSS Feed] button:​

   1. Enter in an RSS Feed Name​

   2. Select your blog from the drop-down menu​

   3. Set the No. of Posts to include in your feed (the maximum is 100)​

   4. Choose whether to Load Full Content in the feed, or leave unchecked to include summaries instead​

3. Copy the link of your new RSS Feed, and save it somewhere to use in the upcoming steps > and click the [Add] button

1. From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Marketing > Emails > click on the [Templates] tab​ > and open the [Blog Emails] folder, to customise our RSS Feed Email template, for a simply branded RSS email
   
   Note: Refer to our Customise Default Emails guide for the steps to use custom values, to automatically update the branding.

   1. (optional) If you would prefer a fully designed RSS email, duplicate and edit one of our premium Newsletter Templates:

      1. Inside the newsletter template, click the [+] icon, from the top left tool bar, to add a new element > drag and drop the [RSS Header] and [RSS Items] into the email design​

      2. Customise the template to match your branding and style, change colours, fonts, logos, etc.​

2. Once the email is ready, click the [Save Template] button in the top right corner > and exit the email builder

3. Go to the [Campaign] tab > click the [+ New] button, in the top right > select [Your Templates] > and select your customised template

4. Click the [Send or Schedule] button, in the top right corner > and select the [RSS Schedule] option:​

   1. Paste in the RSS Feed URL that you copied during the setup step - If you need to locate this URL again, you can go back to Site Pages > Blogs > Settings gear icon > RSS Feeds​

   2. Select the frequency and time you would like this email to send on. For example, you may select every week on Monday at 6pm​

5. Fill in your email sending information, subject line and preview text > and select the recipients

6. Click the [Preview] button, at the top right corner of the screen, to review your final email - be sure to check both the Desktop and Mobile views​

7. Once you're happy, click the [Review and Schedule] button

Currently, the RSS values: {{{rss_feed.title}}} or {{{rss_feed.description}}} tags are designed to pull the primary title and description directly from the top level of your RSS feed (your Business Name/Feed identity) rather than the individual blog post titles. This is a known system behavior where the platform identifies the "Feed" itself as the source

Currently, displaying the entire blog post within an automated RSS email is not supported. This is due to standard limitations with how RSS feeds distribute data and how email platforms render long-form content. The "Read On" link is the standard way to ensure your readers can access the full, correctly formatted article on your blog site.
