All About QR Codes: A Master Help Guide

QR Codes can support both online and in-person marketing. Here are some of the most powerful ways to use them:

• Direct to a website

• Link to a specific funnel or checkout page

• Send users to an application or onboarding form

• Direct to a payment link (perfect for in-person services)

• Prompt a review (Google or Facebook)

• Open a phone call

• Pre-fill an SMS

• Draft an email

Examples:

• Hosting a live event? Display a QR code on-screen that directs to your checkout page

• Running in-person services? Have a QR code ready for payment or prompting a review

• Sending a welcome pack? Include a QR code that links directly to your onboarding form

• Speaking at an event? Show a QR code that links to your freebie funnel

1. From the Ivorey main menu, go to Site Pages > then click [QR Codes]​

2. (Optional) Click [Create Folder] to keep your QR Codes organised if you plan to create multiple​

3. Click [Create QR Code] and enter a clear and descriptive name for your QR Code​

4. Select your desired destination type and follow the prompts to configure it​

5. Once your destination is set, you’ll move to the design and branding section. Here you can customise your QR Code:​

   1. Colours

      1. Background colour

      2. Adjust dots colour

      3. Marker border colour

      4. Marker center colour​

   2. Shape & Form

      1. Adjust dots

      2. Adjust marker border roundness

      3. Adjust marker center​

   3. Logo (Optional)

      1. Add a logo from your media library

      2. Upload a custom image

      3. Remove the background behind your logo if preferred​

   4. Background Image (Optional)

      1. Add a branded image behind your QR Code

      2. Adjust transparency​

6. You can preview your changes live until you’re happy with the final result​

7. When ready, scroll down and select [Download] and choose your preferred file format (e.g. PNG) and save the file to your device​

8. You can now place your QR Code into your chosen asset (PDF, slide deck, website, booklet, business card, signage, etc.)

Note: QR Codes download with a background by default. If you require transparency, you may need to remove the background using a design tool (such as Canva) before placing it into marketing materials.

1. From the Ivorey main menu, go to Site Pages > then click [QR Codes]​

2. From here, you can access Analytics in two ways:​

   1. Option 1: Inside the QR Codes area, click the [Analytics] icon (The blue chart in the top right corner)​

   2. Option 2: Navigate directly to the main [Analytics] page and filter by QR Codes​

3. Once inside Analytics, you can:​

   1. View all QR codes collectively to see total scans across your account​

   2. Track total scans​

   3. Identify unique scans vs repeat scans​

   4. Filter results by date range

​This is especially valuable if you:

• Hosted a speaking engagement

• Displayed a QR code during a presentation

• Included a QR code in a booklet

• Ran an in-person event

By reviewing your analytics, you can clearly measure the real impact of each placement and understand how many people scanned and engaged with your QR Code.

Once downloaded, your QR Code can be placed almost anywhere - both digitally and in print. You can use your QR Code:

• On a website

• Inside a funnel

• In a PDF

• On the back of a business card

• Inside a booklet or welcome pack

• On event signage or posters

• On presentation slides

• In printed marketing materials

Tip: If you’re not using a transparent version, ensure the QR code background colour matches where it’s being placed for a clean, professional finish.

When creating your QR Code, you can choose from multiple destination types depending on your business needs. You can link your QR Code to:
