Frequently Asked Questions

What sort of videos can I embed?

Inside a community post, you can embed anything from a Loom, to a Vimeo or YouTube video, using the direct link.

Why can’t I pin a post on my community home page even though I’m the owner/admin of the community?

You won’t be able to pin a post, if your community channel is set to private. Only posts from public channels can be pinned to the Community Home discussion. Once the channel is changed from private to public, you will be able to pin the post as expected.

Will community admins receive notifications when a member creates a new post?

At the moment, community admins do not receive direct notifications when a member creates a new post inside the community. As a possible workaround, if an admin follows a specific user, they can receive a notification whenever that user publishes a new post through the “New Post From Followed User” notification setting.
