Well done, you've just scheduled your first post!
If you regularly use hashtags in your social content, the Group Hashtag feature can save you time and streamline your workflow. Instead of retyping the same hashtags each time, you can create reusable groups and quickly apply them when scheduling posts.
Go to [Marketing] > [Social Planner] in your Ivorey
dashboard
Click [+ Create New Post]
In the post editor, click the [#] icon to open the Group Hashtag panel
Create a New Group
Name your hashtag group (e.g., “Wellness Tips” or “Launch Campaign”)
Add up to 30 hashtags
Click [Save & Apply]
Apply the Group to Your Post
The saved group will now be available to reuse on future posts with one click.
Note: You can include up to 30 hashtags per post, and groups can be tailored to specific platforms or content types.
The recurring post feature allows you to repurpose and re-share valuable content over time. Whether it's a monthly reminder, or evergreen content that deserves a second life, recurring scheduling helps keep your social presence active without extra effort.
Go to [Marketing] > [Social Planner], then click [+ New Post] > [+ Create New Post]
Add your content: write your caption, upload media, choose your platforms, and select any additional settings (like hashtags or post type).
Under Post Options, choose “Schedule Recurring Post”
Select how often you want the post to repeat:
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly
If you choose Weekly, you can specify which days of the week it repeats
Set the time you'd like the post to be published
Your post is now set to repeat on the schedule you’ve chosen!
Once your recurring post is scheduled, you can manage it from the Calendar View in the Social Planner:
Navigate to [Marketing] > [Social Planner] > [Calendar]
Recurring posts will be visible alongside your other scheduled content
You can drag and drop any scheduled instance to change its date
To quickly find recurring or scheduled posts, use the smart filters or search tool at the top of the planner.
If you’re looking to upload content in batches, the CSV Bulk Scheduling feature in Ivorey
is the most efficient way to pre-plan weeks (or even months) of content in one go. Simply create a spreadsheet with your content, upload it to the Social Planner, and review your scheduled posts before publishing. Perfect for content teams or creators who plan in advance.
You can build your CSV/XLSX file in Google Sheets, Excel, or Apple Numbers. Each row represents one post. Use the following headers in this exact order:
Column Name | Description |
PostAtSpecificTime | The date/time you want the post published. Format as |
content | Your post caption. Include hashtags and emojis, but be mindful of platform character limits (e.g. Instagram = 2,200 characters). |
link (OGmetaURL) | Optional link to be included in your post (e.g. blog article). If media is included, the link will move into the caption. |
imageUrls | Direct URLs to your images (up to 10). Separate each with a comma and space. |
GIFUrl | Optional GIF URL. Only supported on Facebook and LinkedIn. |
videoUrls | Direct video links in |
Important: You can only use one media format per post (images, video, or GIF). Mixed media is not supported in bulk uploads.
Limit: Each CSV can include up to 90 posts.
Navigate to [Marketing] > [Social Planner]
Click [+ New Post] > [Upload from CSV]
Select your CSV file, then click Next
Choose your upload type:
Basic CSV – includes content, date/time, media, and links
Advanced CSV – unlocks platform-specific features like:
Post types (Stories, Reels, Shorts)
Watermarks, tags, follow-up comments
Google Business call-to-actions, event posts, offers
YouTube privacy settings, Pinterest board selection, and more
Select the social accounts that match the content you’re uploading
Review uploaded posts:
Your uploaded posts will appear in list view
Click the expand icon next to each post to preview the full post details
Any errors will be flagged for you to edit (e.g. incorrect date/time format or missing media)
Make edits directly in the review screen before continuing
Once you're happy with the content and schedule, click [Import Posts] to add them to your Social Planner
Need to remove multiple posts at once? You can bulk delete posts directly inside the planner or via public API.
Go to List View in the planner and select the posts you want to remove
Click [Actions] > [Delete Selected Posts]
Confirm the deletion
Note: Published posts cannot be deleted through the planner or API. API deletion supports up to 50 posts per request.
If you're working with a team or managing content for others, the Post Approvals feature in Ivorey
lets you collaborate, review, and approve social posts before they go live.
Go to [Marketing] > [Social Planner]
Click [+ New Post] > [+ Create New Post]
Create your content with captions, images/videos, hashtags, and choose the platforms you want to post to.
Set the Post for Approval
Instead of publishing or scheduling immediately, click [Send Post for Approval]
Select the date and time to schedule the post
Assign a reviewer to approve it
Add any internal notes to provide context
Once submitted, the approver will receive an email notification.
Go to the Approval Tab
The assigned reviewer can access the post under the 'Approval' tab in the Social Planner.
Click [View] to Review Post Details
They’ll be able to preview the full post, make edits, approve, or reject it.
Add a Caption (Optional)
In the approval screen, the reviewer can add a customised caption before publishing. If no caption is added, the system will use the original post content as the caption.
Reviewers can also adjust the date and time of scheduled posts directly within the approval screen - no need to send the post back to the original creator. This helps teams move faster and reduce delays.
This powerful feature helps you automate your posting schedule by organising your evergreen content into categories that post on autopilot.
