How to change the URL of a Funnel
How to change the URL of a Funnel
To change the main URL of your funnel, go to [Site Pages] > [Funnels] > click into your funnel > then click on the [Settings] tab.
Make sure your domain is connected under the 'Domain' tab
Update your path URL under the 'Path' tab. Your path URL are the words that follow your domain and become the main URL for your funnel. (e.g. youdomain.com/the-ivorey-revolution). This is the URL we suggest sharing to drive traffic to your funnel.
How to change the URL of any individual funnel page
How to change the URL of any individual funnel page
Go to [Site Pages] > [Funnels] > click into your funnel
Once you've connected your domain to your funnel, you will see a URL above the preview view of your funnel page. Here, you can click on the settings icon next to the URL and update your page path here.
Please note: If you see random numbers at the end of your funnel's URL, it's because of a conflict between the main funnel path and individual page paths. To fix this, make sure each page in your funnel has a slightly different path, like adding step numbers (e.g., awesome-offer-1, awesome-offer-2).
How To Place a Test Purchase Through Your Sales Funnel
To test your Sales Funnel, you will need to put the Funnel into test mode by going to [Site Pages] > [Funnels] > click on your funnel > click the "Settings tab" > scroll down to toggle over to [Test] mode under "Payment Mode".
Once you have put your Funnel into test mode, you can then paste the Funnel URL into a new browser to checkout as if you were a buyer and proceed to the checkout. Use a real email address that you can actually check, ideally one that has not been used to grant offers for any of your courses/communities before.
Enter dummy credit card details to the order form:
If you are using Stripe for your Payment Processor please use the dummy card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any expiry date set in the future and any 3 digits for the CVC. You can also refer to this Stripe Article here for dummy card testing.
If you are using Square for your Payment Processor, you will first need to make sure Square Sandbox Mode is connected by going to [Payments] > [Settings] > and click [Connect] next to 'Square Sandbox Mode' > then you can use the dummy card number 4111 1111 1111 1111 with the CVC 111. You can also check this Square Article here for other Sandbox Cards to use for testing purposes.
To check the order processed, you should see the new contact created in the [Contacts] tab of the Ivorey™ CRM. Click on the contact, and you should see all the transaction details on the right hand panel under Payments. You should also see any emails that sent in the main messaging panel. To see any automations that fired or course/community access that was granted, scroll down the left panel to the 'Automations' and 'Client Portal' area. If anything didn't trigger correctly and you've self-checked your work but can't find the issue - please reach out via the Help Widget so we can assist.
Once you have gone through the checkout process, go back to your Funnel Settings and make sure you have turn it back onto Live Mode before sharing with your community.
