Create a New Offer For an Existing Course

Learn all about creating an offer for an already existing course, and access our step-by-step instructions, FAQs, and everything you need to know!

Before You Dive In

When you create a new course in Ivorey™, you will automatically create the course offer. However, if you would like to create additional offers, you can do so without needing to build a whole new course. For example, you might want to create a VIP price option, bundle two or more courses together, or create an offer for an imported Kajabi course.

This guide is perfect if you want to:

  • Create an offer for an existing course

  • Create a bundled course offer for multiple courses

  • Create a new offer for an imported course

Step 1: Create a New Offer For Your Course

You can create multiple offers for your course, and include one course, or multiple courses inside each offer.

  1. From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Courses > hover over Courses in the top menu bar > and click [Offers]

  2. Click [+ Create Offer] and give your offer a name

  3. Under the [Products] tab, select the course portal(s) you’ve already created (you can add one course or bundle multiple together)

  4. Choose a pricing option:

    1. Free – for free courses, or when you’re selling through a funnel

    2. One-time – for a single purchase price

    3. Recurring – for subscriptions or payment plans

      1. For payment plans - enter the number of times the billing should repeat

      2. For ongoing subscriptions - leave the number of times blank so it will recur indefinitely

  5. Switch the toggle to [Live] mode > and click [Save] to be directed to the Offer Details page

Note: if you are selling your course via a Sales Funnel, you can stop here.

  6. Complete your course description with relevant details

  7. Set Offer Access rules (optional)

    1. Delay access until a specific start date (e.g. for pre-launch)

    2. Limit access for a set duration (e.g. 6 weeks only)

  8. Upload an Offer Thumbnail image (optional)

  9. Click [Save & Publish] to finish

Step 2: Choose How To Sell Your New Offer

Now that you've created your new offer, you can sell this via the basic course offer checkout or via a sales funnel (more flexible pricing options, control, and analytics). Depending on your choice, please refer to the relevant guides below:

  • If you want to sell via the course offer checkout - please follow the steps in our Master Help Guide on Courses, from Step 4 onwards.

  • If you want to sell via a sales funnel - please follow the steps in our Master Help Guide on Sales Funnels.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I give access to a free course?

Follow the steps above, and simply set the offer price to be free. If you have a community that you want to add the free course to, you could also add it inside the Learning tab of your community and set the price to be free.

What’s the difference between a course and an offer?

A course (or course product) is where the learning content is housed. An offer is a single course or bundle of courses that you then sell. One course can be linked to many different offers.

How do I offer multiple payment options for my course checkout?

Simple offer checkouts can only have one price point. To create multiple, you can create an additional offer (so you end up with one checkout link for each price point). You can then add those links into different buttons on your site, or even hyperlink both options inside the text on your checkout, so buyers can navigate between them both.

Alternatively, you can build a Sales Funnel instead (we have templates for this), which gives you way more flexibility and advanced options for branding, price points, analytics and more.

Will changing the access date for my course affect the members already inside?

No, changing the Access or Start date will only apply to new sign ups. Existing members will keep their current access.
