This article is one step from our Master Help Guide: All About Forms. We recommend starting with the visual walkthrough video and examples inside the Master Help Guide before diving into the technical breakdown below.
Each Master Help Guide acts as your project plan – teaching you the feature, laying out the steps in the right order, and linking to every resource you’ll need along the way.
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Set up automatic notifications for form submissions
In form settings, you can set up a basic email notification to send to yourself or your team, every time a form is submitted. You can also set up a simple auto-response to submissions.
From the Ivorey
main menu, go to Site Pages > along the top menu bar, click on [Forms] and open the form you want to edit > then click the
bell icon at the top left of your screen
Toggle on Email Notification > and enter the email address you want to receive your notifications to in the Email (To)* field
(optional) Toggle on Auto Responder, to send an automated email to people who submit a form, so they can review their answers
Click [Save] at the bottom of the notifications area > and [Save] at the top right corner of the screen, to update the notification settings
The Payment Status field may display "[object Object]" in submission notifications, due to a built-in system function. However, payments are still processed and recorded correctly. Currently, there is no option to customise or edit this field. The status will continue to appear as "[object Object]" in the notification, but the actual payment details can be verified in Submissions tab.
