Ivorey™ quizzes are designed to help you create interactive, guided experiences for your users without needing any external software. Whether you’re running a course, program, training, onboarding flow, or lead funnel, quizzes allow you to capture details, test understanding, reinforce learning, and personalise the next steps in someone’s journey.

Quizzes can be used as learning checkpoints inside courses, assessments at the end of a module, onboarding questionnaires, or lead segmentation tools. They are fully drag-and-drop and support a wide range of question types, including multiple choice, written answers, ratings, file uploads, signatures, and more.

You can create a seamless experience where quiz responses automatically trigger emails, apply tags, or guide users to the most relevant offer or outcome.

Note: The Quiz Builder is designed for scored assessments where answers have point values and results are calculated based on total score or category scores.

Because of this, it isn’t well suited for personality or archetype-style quizzes that rely on complex logic patterns to match someone with a specific type or result.

We suggest using the Quiz Builder for more linear use-cases like knowledge tests, lead segmentation, or product/course recommendations, where scoring logic aligns naturally with the quiz structure.

How To Build a Quiz with the Quiz Builder

The Quiz Builder is a tool designed for the creation and management of quizzes for educators, trainers, and businesses. It offers a range of customisation options, making it easy to design quizzes and analyse results. It's great for creating educational tests or interactive quizzes, for engagement and to generate leads.

Click here for the written steps

  1. From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Site Pages > along the top menu bar, hover over Quizzes > then click [Builder]

  2. Click on the [+ Add Quiz] button > and select to Start from Scratch or From Templates
    ​

  3. Use the left hand sidebar to drag and drop question types onto each slide. You can edit the questions from the settings bar on the right hand side of the screen:
    ​

    1. Click on each question to edit it using the right-hand settings panel
      ​

    2. You can rearrange questions, set options, add validations, or even enable jump logic
      ​

  4. Assign Categories & Scores to define scoring for each question to determine the final result:
    ​

    1. Define how scores are calculated for each question
      ​

    2. Assign different scores for each answer and apply category tags if needed
      ​

    3. Use the Jump To feature for branching logic

    ​

  5. Make sure to add Name and Email fields, at the end or the start of the quiz, so you can connect the submissions back to the contact
    ​

  6. Customise the Result Page to personalise the layout, colours, CTAs, and score tier content:
    ​

    1. Scroll to the Results Template at the bottom of the quiz builder > and click [Edit Template]
      ​

    2. You can show unique messages depending on the score achieved
      ​

    3. Add dynamic elements like logos, booking links or lead magnets

    4. Click [Save] on your results page

  7. Click the [Preview] button, in the top right corner > and click the [Save] button, when you're done
    ​

  8. Now you are ready to share your quiz! To grab the link or embed code for your quiz, click the [Integrate] button at the top right of your screen and copy the code or link

Frequently Asked Questions About the Quiz Builder

Why isn't my quiz redirecting as expected based on my score tiers?

If your quiz doesn't redirect after clicking "Submit", it is likely because your score tiers are missing a range. To work correctly, your tiers must cover the full 0 to 100% range.

​For example: If your lowest tier starts at 60%, the system won't know where to send anyone who scores below that, causing the page to simply freeze on the last question.

Can I integrate a quiz with my website?

Yes, you can embed quizzes on your website using the provided embed code, or add the share link to a button on your site.

Can I customise the scoring system?

Yes, the Quiz Builder allows you to assign different points to each question, and set up category-based scoring.

How can I analyse quiz results?

To see quiz results, go to Sites > Quizzes > Submissions where you can view and export quiz responses and performance data.

Can I automate follow-ups based on quiz scores?

Yes, using the Quiz Submitted Trigger in workflows, you can set up automated follow-ups like emails and SMS messages.

Does the Quiz Builder support branching logic?

Yes! You can use the Jump To settings to guide users through different paths, based on their answers.
