All About the Quiz Builder: A Master Help Guide

Ivorey quizzes are designed to help you create interactive, guided experiences for your users without needing any external software. Whether you’re running a course, program, training, onboarding flow, or lead funnel, quizzes allow you to capture details, test understanding, reinforce learning, and personalise the next steps in someone’s journey.

Quizzes can be used as learning checkpoints inside courses, assessments at the end of a module, onboarding questionnaires, or lead segmentation tools. They are fully drag-and-drop and support a wide range of question types, including multiple choice, written answers, ratings, file uploads, signatures, and more.

You can create a seamless experience where quiz responses automatically trigger emails, apply tags, or guide users to the most relevant offer or outcome.

1. From the Ivorey main menu, go to Site Pages > along the top menu bar, hover over Quizzes > then click [Builder]

2. Click on the [+ Add Quiz] button > and select to Start from Scratch or From Templates​

3. Use the left hand sidebar to drag and drop question types onto each slide. You can edit the questions from the settings bar on the right hand side of the screen:​

   1. Click on each question to edit it using the right-hand settings panel​

   2. You can rearrange questions, set options, add validations, or even enable jump logic​

4. Assign Categories & Scores to define scoring for each question to determine the final result:​

   1. Define how scores are calculated for each question​

   2. Assign different scores for each answer and apply category tags if needed​

   3. Use the Jump To feature for branching logic​

   

5. Make sure to add Name and Email fields, at the end or the start of the quiz, so you can connect the submissions back to the contact​

6. Customise the Result Page to personalise the layout, colours, CTAs, and score tier content:​

   1. Scroll to the Results Template at the bottom of the quiz builder > and click [Edit Template]​

   2. You can show unique messages depending on the score achieved​

   3. Add dynamic elements like logos, booking links or lead magnets

   4. Click [Save] on your results page

   

7. Click the [Preview] button, in the top right corner > and click the [Save] button, when you're done​

8. Now you are ready to share your quiz! To grab the link or embed code for your quiz, click the [Integrate] button at the top right of your screen and copy the code or link

If your quiz doesn't redirect after clicking "Submit", it is likely because your score tiers are missing a range. To work correctly, your tiers must cover the full 0 to 100% range.

​For example: If your lowest tier starts at 60%, the system won't know where to send anyone who scores below that, causing the page to simply freeze on the last question.

To see quiz results, go to Sites > Quizzes > Submissions where you can view and export quiz responses and performance data.

Yes, using the Quiz Submitted Trigger in workflows, you can set up automated follow-ups like emails and SMS messages.

Yes! You can use the Jump To settings to guide users through different paths, based on their answers.

Absolutely, when editing the Results Template, you can set score tiers (e.g. Low/Medium/High), edit colours, text, and even add booking buttons or CTAs.

The Result Page in the quiz builder does not support YouTube video links. To display a video correctly, please upload it directly to your Ivorey media library first. Once uploaded, get the video link from the media library and add that link to the Result Page. This ensures the video will play properly for your quiz participants.

When you duplicate a quiz, all score-related custom fields (such as Score and Score Tier) are copied exactly as they were set up in the original quiz. These fields are automatically carried over to maintain the same scoring structure. Currently, these score-related custom fields can't be renamed or edited after duplication.
