Ask AI doesn't have to be limited to completing actions and tasks only inside your Ivorey™ account. You can expand its reach and power with Connectors, so Ask AI can work directly inside apps you already use (e.g. Notion, Canva, Monday.com), or operate your actual browser to complete tasks out on the open web. You decide exactly what Ask AI is allowed to do, and it acts only within those limits, without you needing to do it manually yourself.
Ask AI directly supports:
Notion
Apify
HubSpot
Make
Fathom
Calendly
Canva
OpenArt
Monday.com
Cal.com
Higgsfield
GitHub
Shippo
Windsor.ai
Atlassian (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
Trello
Note: You can also set up custom Connectors, to connect with any other app that provides an MCP connection and server URL.
Your Connectors are private to your own login, and are never shared with other team members, even when using the same Ivorey™ account
Ask AI never sees or stores your passwords or login details, it only keeps a reference to your connected account, and generates access per request
Permissions aren't locked in at setup, you can go back in and enable or disable individual tools for an app at any time after connecting
If one connected app runs into an issue, it's isolated to that request only, so the rest of your Ask AI chat keeps working as normal
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Pull information from an app you already use straight into an Ask AI chat, without switching tabs
Have Ask AI create, update, or search inside Notion, Canva, HubSpot, or another connected app on your behalf
Let Ask AI open pages, click, and fill in forms in your browser to complete multi-step tasks on the web
Control exactly what Ask AI is allowed to do in each connected app
Connectors link Ask AI directly to a specific app via your own login, so it can read/pull information, create new files/projects, make updates, or search inside that app for you, without you leaving your Ask AI chat. Once connected, changes sync in real time and in both directions, between Ivorey™ and the connected app.
From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > go to the Customize tab in the left side panel > select [Connectors] > and click [Manage Connectors]:
Search and select the app you'd like to connect (e.g. Notion, Canva, HubSpot) > click [Connect]
Enter the Account Name and Email Address associated with your account with that app > and click [Continue]
Note: You authenticate under your own external login, so your credentials for each connected app stay private to you and are never shown to Ask AI.
Click [+ Add custom MCP] to connect to any other third-party app or tool that offers an MCP connection/server
Enter the Name of the app and paste in its MCP server URL
Note: Refer to the third-party app’s documentation to learn if it offers an MCP server, and to find the correct URL.
Click the [Advanced] drop-down, to enter in a Client ID and Client secret (if needed), or to copy the Redirect URI (our identifier through LeadConnector)
Click [Add MCP]
The third-party app or tool will open in a new browser tab > follow the prompts to authenticate and allow permission for the Connector to access your account (specific permissions will be controlled in the next step)
Back in Ask AI, click [Save] to complete the connection
Once connected, the app appears under Connected Apps, click on the app's name to see the full list of Tools (permissions) it offers:
Toggle All Tools ON/OFF to enable/disable all tool options
Toggle any specific tool ON/OFF to enable/disable it (e.g. create page, search database)
In the top right corner, you can toggle the Connector ON/OFF to Enable/Disable it (Ask AI can only use the Connector when it’s set to Enabled)
At any time, you can click back into [Manage Connectors] > select any specific Connected app:
Click the 🗑 trash icon to delete it completely
Click [+ Add Account] to connect a second account with the same app (each account must use a different login)
Open any chat with Ask AI, and prompt it to create or change something in the connected app to test the connection
Note: Visual customisation inside a connected app (e.g. changing colours of elements in Notion) can be limited. Ask AI might not be able to replicate every visual detail even when the content itself updates correctly.
Browser Control works a little bit differently to other Connectors. Instead of linking to one specific app, it lets Ask AI operate your actual browser: opening pages in a new browser tab, scrolling, clicking, typing, and filling in forms on any website, the way you would yourself. It's useful for research, checking for updates online, filling in forms, or completing online sign-ups.
From the main Ivorey™ menu, go to Ask AI > and either:
Start a new chat or open an existing one > and type a prompt that needs Ask AI to access the web for information or to complete the action (e.g. Go to [website] and summarise their pricing plans for me) > Ask AI will prompt you to install the extension, click [Install]
Go to the Customize tab in the left side panel > select [Connectors] > below Connected Apps, select [Browser Control] > toggle it ON to Enabled > and click [Get the Chrome extension]
You'll be redirected to the LeadConnector - Ask AI listing in the Chrome Web Store > click [Add to Chrome]
Review the extension permissions > and click [Add extension]
Return to your original prompt in Ask AI, and it will pick up where it left off - or start a new chat and prompt Ask AI > you can watch its progress in real time as opens a new browser tab and executes the request
You can press the [◼] stop button, in your Ask AI chat, at any time to stop an operation if needed (closing the AI-operated browser tab will not necessarily stop the task from being completed)
Note: The extension can also click, type, and fill in forms when a task calls for it - if it ever needs sensitive information, like a password or payment details, you'll be prompted to enter it yourself directly in the browser, and Ask AI never sees or stores these values.
No, Connectors are tied to your own Ivorey™ login, other team members won't see it or be able to use it in their own Ask AI chats, even in the same Ivorey™ account. If they need the same app connected, they'll need to go through the connection steps themselves under their own login.
