Your profile holds the settings that belong to you and your own login, such as your personal details, password, notification preferences, and more. These settings are separate from your Business details, which belong to your entire Ivorey™ account. Each team member in your account can customise their own profile, without changing anyone else's.
This guide is perfect if you want to:
Keep your personal details up to date in your Ivorey™ account
Protect your login with a strong password and two-factor authentication
Add a professional signature to the emails you send from Ivorey™
Choose how you are notified about new messages, tasks, appointments, and reviews
All of your personal settings live in one place, organised into tabs. Work through each tab below to set up your profile the way you like it, and come back at any time to update it.
The General tab holds your contact details, the language Ivorey™ displays in for you, and your email signature. Your signature keeps every email you send from Ivorey™ consistent and professional.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Settings > Profile > and make sure you are on the [General] tab, where you can edit your Personal Details
Edit your First and Last Name
Update the Email address you use to log in to Ivorey™
Note: Password reset emails are sent to this address, so make sure it is one you can always access.
Add in your Phone number - click the flag drop-down to select your country code > enter your phone number > and optionally add in your phone Extension
Under Calendar, you can select your primary calendar from the drop-down
Adjust your Platform Language to choose the language you would like Ivorey™ to display in for you
Note: Your notifications will also be sent in your selected platform language, where a translation is available. If translations aren’t available, they will be sent in English.
Under Signature, set up or edit your email signature:
Create your signature in the editor, using the formatting toolbar to style your text - add links or images (e.g. your name, title, phone number, and website)
Toggle Enable signature on all outgoing messages ON, if you would like your signature to be added to your outgoing emails automatically
Tick the Include this signature before quoted text in replies checkbox, if you would like your signature to appear above the previous email thread when you reply
Click the [Update profile] button, at the bottom right, to save your changes
A strong password and two-factor authentication work together to protect your account, your client details, and your business information. You can also sign out of every device at once, if you ever suspect someone else has access to your login.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Settings > Profile > and select the [Security] tab
Under Password, you can update your password any time:
Enter your Current password > enter your New password > enter the new password again to Confirm > and click the [Update Password] button
Note: Your new password must contain at least 12 characters, and include letters, numbers, and at least one special character (e.g. !, @, # or $). We recommend using a unique password that you don’t use for any other account.
To sign out of Ivorey™ on all of your devices, click [Sign out everywhere]
To set up two-factor authentication, click the [Setup Two-factor Authentication (2FA) App] button:
Open an authenticator app on your phone (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, Duo)
Scan the QR code shown on your screen, or manually enter the setup code provided
Click [Next] > and enter the one-time code shown in your authenticator app, to finish the setup
Save your backup codes somewhere secure, separate from your password
Note: The next time you log in, select the authenticator app option and enter the code from your app to complete your login.
Connecting your Gmail or Outlook account syncs your emails between your external inbox and Ivorey™, so you can manage all conversations in one place.

Your notification settings let you decide which updates reach you, and where. Choosing only the alerts you need helps you respond quickly without your inbox or phone being flooded.
From the Ivorey™ main menu, go to Settings > Profile > and select the [Notifications] tab
Click on each notification category to expand it > and tick the checkbox under In-App, Email, and/or SMS (shown along the top), to select the notifications you want to receive for:
Conversation Notifications - any new conversations, conversations assigned to you, new messages on conversations you own or follow, being mentioned in a conversation, and more

Click the [Save] button, at the bottom right
Note: If your access is set to Only Assigned data, you won’t receive notifications about leads or conversations that are not assigned to you.
If you’ve forgotten the password for your Ivorey™ login, click the [Forgot Password?] button on the login screen, and enter the email address you use to login. A password reset email will be sent to your inbox, where you can create a new password.
If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folders before requesting a new one. If you have any issues accessing your Ivorey™ account, please reach out to Support at [email protected] 🤍
If you have 2FA enabled and you can’t access your authenticator app, you can log in using one of your backup codes instead. Ten backup codes are created at a time, and each one can only be used once. If your backup codes are lost or have been accidentally shared, you can reset them from the Security tab in your profile settings.
No. Two-factor authentication can’t be set up by an account admin, each user must set up their own 2FA, from their profile settings.
You may receive duplicate notifications, if more than one notification setting applies to the same message (e.g. a new message on a conversation that is also assigned to you). Review your notification settings and untick any overlapping options, for a cleaner inbox.
