Frequently Asked Questions About Products and Payments

Do I need to connect a payment processor before creating products in Ivorey™?

Yes, you must connect Stripe (and PayPal if you use it) before any products can be sold. This ensures your payments process correctly and your payouts flow to your bank.

Do I need to set everything up again for each new product?

No, once your payment processor and tax settings are configured, you only need to create new product entries as needed.

What payment methods are supported?

Is there a way to track all my sales and payments in one place?

Yes, the Payments dashboard lets you view transactions, subscriptions, refunds, and customer information all in one convenient location.

Is Ivorey™ covered by the PCI compliance?

No, Ivorey™ itself is not a payment processor. All payments run through the integrated payment processors (e.g. Stripe), which are PCI Level 1 Service Provider certified. The checkout pages in Ivorey™ are hosted environments, but the actual payment fields (card numbers, etc.) are handled securely by Stripe’s SDK or through your chosen payment processing partner, not by Ivorey™ directly.

Why can't I delete a specific currency price from my product and get an error?

If you see the error message: "Cannot delete price: Associated product is protected from deletion due to active subscriptions or special product type", when trying to delete a product price, this is because the system is protecting against billing disruptions. Please reach out to our Support Team, via the chat widget, with the exact product name and the specific price you wish to remove. We will then manually delete this on the backend to ensure your product is updated correctly.
