Course Signup Workflows For Offer Checkouts

Important Note: If you're selling your course via a sales page/funnel, please follow the Sales Funnel Master Guide instead. This step is ONLY for using Ivorey's pre-populated "Course Offer Checkouts"


Set Up Your Course Signup Workflow (Template Provided)

After you’ve created your course offer and checkout, the last step is to set up a workflow. This tells Ivorey™ what to do when someone signs up - whether your course is free or paid. The workflow will automatically tag contacts, send notifications, and send any additional emails you like - so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

  1. To customise and use our course signup workflow template, from the main menu, go to Workflows > locate the "Bonus Workflow Templates" folder > and locate the "Course Offer Signup: Product Name" workflow template

  2. Click the three dots (⁝) to the right of the template > click [Duplicate Workflow]

  3. Open the copy, and re-name it at the top according to your particular course

  4. Edit the Trigger:

    • Confirm the trigger is New Signup

    • Add a Filter > Offer and select the correct course offer

  5. Add a Tag:

    • Use a clear format like Purchased – [Course Name] or Signed Up – [Course Name]

    • This makes it easy to segment and track contacts later

  6. (Optional) If you'd like to also grant access to a Community:

    • Add a new step before Internal Notification > set the action step to [Grant Group Access] > and select your specific community group under 'Groups' (make sure you've already created your Community Group)

    • Add a tag like Added - [Community Name] or Joined - [Community Name]

  7. Customise the Internal Notification:

    • This is an optional step to notify you/your team by email or in-app when someone signs up

    • Choose specific team members under User Type, or have it go to all.

    • Customise the placeholder text and message

  8. (Optional) Add a Welcome Email:

    • Insert a pre-written email template from your account, or write a short congratulatory message

    • If not needed, delete this step. Remember the login details get sent automatically from a different area of Ivorey™ (Courses > Settings > Email Settings)

  9. Toggle your workflow to [Publish] at the top right of your screen > and click [Save]

  10. Repeat the above steps for each course
