3 Ways You Can Integrate Ivorey With Another Third Party Platform

If you're trying to connect Ivorey™ with another tool (like your course tool or email software), you’ve got a few options. While we always recommend using Ivorey’s built-in features where possible (to avoid tech headaches), here’s how to handle third-party integrations when needed.

Please note: The Ivorey support team can provide you technical support for within the Ivorey platform. Any integrations outside of Ivorey (e.g. via Zapier, Pabbly or any other 3rd party tools) are outside the scope of the support we can provide. This has been created as a bonus training to assist our members - but please ensure to direct any further support needs to the relevant platform (e.g. Zapier if you will be using their tool).

🔁 Option 1: Zapier (Easy for sending data into Ivorey - limited for sending data out)

Ivorey doesn’t appear in Zapier under its own name - you’ll need to search for LeadConnector.

If you're using Zapier to send data into Ivorey (e.g. from a course platform or form tool), that’s easy and works well. You can create or update contacts, apply tags, and then use those tags to trigger workflows inside Ivorey.

However, if you're trying to send data out of Ivorey, the options are very limited as right now, Zapier only offers one trigger for LeadConnector: Pipeline stage changed.

Summary:

  • ✅ Zapier is great for sending data into Ivorey

  • ⚠️ Zapier is very limited for sending data out

🔁 Option 2: Pabbly (Much More Flexibility than Zapier)

Pabbly has way more flexibility than Zapier when it comes to LeadConnector integrations. It offers more triggers and actions when connecting with Ivorey and is usually cheaper than Zapier too.

  • Search for LeadConnector V2 inside Pabbly to see what integrations are available (or click here)

  • Utilise their resources and support to get setup.

🔁 Option 3: Use Google Sheets For More Flexibility in Zapier (only use if you don't want to use Pabbly)

If you do not want to use Pabbly, you can instead send Ivorey data to Google Sheets (directly inside of Ivorey workflows area), and then setup Zapier to be triggered whenever new data is added to Google Sheets. This opens up limitless integration opportunity since Google Sheets is so flexible and can be integrated with virtually anything.

  1. Create a Google Sheet and make sure to add column headers in Row 1.
    Common headers are:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

    • Tag (or any other custom field you need to send)

  2. In Ivorey, either create a new workflow or open the one you want to use. If you're trying to send data after someone fills in a form or makes a purchase, you should already have workflows setup for that anyway. In this case, you would just be adding an extra step to your existing workflows.

  3. Add the action called Google Sheet > Create Spreadsheet Row

    • If it’s your first time, it’ll prompt you to connect your Google account (you can also do this under Settings > Integrations > Google)

    • This is a premium action – check pricing here if needed

  4. Select your spreadsheet and the worksheet (tab) inside it.

  5. Choose the starting column and ending column (e.g. from A to D or however far your headers span.

  6. You’ll now see a list of each column and can map your fields. Use Ivorey’s custom values to insert the correct data, see image below for example:

    • In the first name field > You would add {{contact.first_name}} so Ivorey can pull in the person's first name.

    • In the first name field > You would add {{contact.last_name}} so Ivorey can pull in the person's first name.

    • In the first name field > You would add {{contact.email}} so Ivorey can pull in the person's email.

    • If you created another header for a tag or custom field, you can type in static text based on what the workflow is. For example, if this workflow is to tag someone in another platform after they opt-in to a freebie on Ivorey, you could add text like " opt in: freebie name" in the tag field to send that data to your other platform.

  7. Once fields are mapped, click Save Action > then Save your workflow > and turn it onto publish mode if its not already.

  8. Go and complete the trigger (e.g. submit the form, or place the test purchase) based on whatever your workflow trigger is on Ivorey. Then, check that the Ivorey workflow triggered and the data was added to your Google Sheet. Below is an example of the data that came across from the workflow above.

  9. You can now create a zap on Zapier with the trigger: Google Sheets > New Row Added and integrate it with any other platform you like. Zapier will then wait until a row is added onto your Google Sheet, and trigger the zap.

Need Help?

For setting up the methods above with Zapier or Pabbly, please contact their support teams directly as those platforms sit outside the scope of what we can assist with. Where possible, we always recommend using Ivorey’s built-in features to reduce the need for third-party integrations and keep your setup simple and streamlined. 🤍
