Whether you're launching a new offer, running a flash sale, or setting up an evergreen funnel, you’ll need a series of emails to guide your audience through it.

We’ve already added a bonus sales sequence to your account. You’ll find it under: Marketing > Emails > Templates > "BONUS: Limited Time Offer Sequence". You can rebrand these, add your own copy, and use it in either of the options below.
Option 1: For a Live Email Sequences
If your launch is happening on specific dates (e.g. cart opens/closes), we recommend using Campaign Emails as the easiest option for most users. This is where you simply create and schedule each email to send at a fixed date and time, instead of creating a workflow.
To setup a set of sales emails for a live launch or sale, go to Marketing > Emails > Create Folder and give it a name for your specific sale/campaign event.
Inside the folder, create each email that will go out in your campaign. You can either start from blank, our use an existing template that we've already added into your account.
Edit each email, ensuring to add the subject, preview line, and link buttons up correctly.
Schedule the exact date and time you want the email to go out, and to who. Refer to our guide on segmenting your email list here.
Use the “Resend to unopened” feature to automatically resend your email with a new subject line (e.g. 24 hours later) to anyone who didn’t open it, if applicable.
Option 2: For Evergreen Email Sequences
If you want your email sequence to run automatically for each new subscriber or based on another certain trigger, then build your email sequence as a workflow:
Create your emails first. To setup an automated email sequence via workflows, go to Marketing > Emails > Templates > Create each email in order, and save it all into a folder for easy access. You can also use bonus email templates we've provided already inside the "BONUS: Limited Time Offer Sequence" if you like.
Then create your workflow. Go to Workflows from the main menu > Create a new workflow.
Add your trigger (e.g. when a form is submitted, or leave it blank if you plan to manually add people later)
Add an action: Send Email → choose your first email template
Add a Wait step (e.g. wait 1 day)
Continue adding steps that alternative between Send Email → Wait 1 day → Send Email → Wait 1 day etc, until your sequence is finished
At the end, decide:
If you want to keep contacts in the workflow (e.g. if you plan to continue adding onto this sequence in the future) then add a final wait step (e.g. wait 1000 days). This will just hold them in the workflow after the sequence is finished, in case you want to add to it later.
If you're happy for them to exit automatically, don’t add any wait at the end - they’ll finish and exit the workflow once the last step is done.
