How to Download and Customise Ivorey™’s Blog Template

We have created a blog template to help get you started and save you time. Watch the video below or follow the steps to learn how to download our blog template and start making it your own

Click here for the written steps

  1. To download our blog template, from the Ivorey™ main menu, go to [Site Pages] > then along the top menu bar click [Blogs]

  2. Click on the downwards facing arrow on the right side of the [Create Blog Site] button > and select [Create Blog from Template]

  3. Click on the Ivorey Blog Template > then click [Continue] to download it into your account

  4. Once the blog template has downloaded into your account, click the [Edit Blog Site] button at the top right of your screen to customise the appearance and branding of your Blog Site

Note: The blog post element is a dynamic element, which means even when you have created your blog posts, you will see the system placeholders while in editor mode. This is just to show you the overall layout of your blog posts, and these will automatically populate with any published blog posts you've created when in preview or live mode. To see the blog site with your published blog posts, click the preview button, or if you are ready to publish, you can click the publish button

  5. Once you have finished customising your blog home and post pages, navigate back to the main blog area of your account where the sample post were listed > and click the 3 dots located to the right side of the [New Post] button > click [Settings] > then enter the relevant details in each field

    1. Blog site title: this is what appears in a browser tab title and in search results

    2. Domain & Slug: choose your domain from the drop down menu (e.g yourdomain.com) or leave this blank until you are ready to publish your blog as you can add your domain later > then add your slug (e.g /blog)

    3. Blog Meta Description: this is a is a short summary or snippet of your blog site

  6. Once you have updated the blog settings, click the [Update] button to save your changes

  7. You're now ready to start creating your first post!
