This guide is perfect if you're looking to: - Find the quickest and easiest way to sell your course - Customise your course offer checkout > **Warning:** Currently, taxes are not applied to course offer checkouts. This means that when a customer purchases a course through a course offer checkout, taxes such as GST or other regional taxes will not be automatically added or calculated. Please either build these tax amounts into your total price, or consider using a [Sales Funnel](https://cqcighsbi.gleap.help/en/articles/11131278-all-about-sales-funnels-a-master-help-guide), which allows for more pricing options. * * * ## how to customise your course offer checkout Once you’ve created your course offer, the next step is to set up a simple **offer checkout.** This is the fastest way to start sharing your free or paid course without building a full sales funnel. If you have not yet done so, please refer to our [Create a Course and Course Offer](https://cqcighsbi.gleap.help/en/articles/12050212-create-a-course-and-course-offer) guide.​ 1. From the main ivorey menu, go to **Portals** > **Courses** > **Offers**​ 2. Find the offer you want to customise, and click the ✏ pencil icon to edit your offer​ 3. On the **Details** tab, you can:​ 1. Finalise your course offer **Title** and **Description** (we will be customising the offer checkout description, so you can leave this blank)​ 2. Add **Custom Code snippets**, under the Advanced drop-down​ 3. Adjust your **Offer Access** settings​ 4. Upload an **Offer Thumbnail** image​ 4. On the **Upsell** tab, you can add an upsell to this offer​ 5. Click the **\[Edit Checkout\]** button at the top right corner, to begin customising your checkout page design​ 6. On the left-hand panel, click **\[Offer Details\]**, here you can customise the:​ 1. **Banner** **Image** - Upload an image (use our [Canva templates](https://www.canva.com/design/DAGhlmHSeH4/SgeH8m3vKyLyY2ZGltTMcg/view?utm_content=DAGhlmHSeH4&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink&mode=preview) for the correct size) or disable the banner if you prefer​ 2. **Banner Image Height** - Adjust the height of your banner, to show more or less of the image at the top​ 3. **Video** - Upload a video to your checkout page (maximum file size of 5GB) for an engaging customer experience​ 4. **Poster Image** - Upload an image to your checkout page (we recommend using your course cover image)​ 5. **Logo** **Image** - Add your logo to make your checkout page look professional and on-brand​ 6. **Checkout Copy** - Add text to describe your course and include key details. As you go, click the **\[Save\]** button at the top of the left-hand panel, to display your changes. Click the **\[Preview\]** button at the top right corner to preview the full checkout page. When you have completed the **Offer Details** page, click the **\[< Back\]** button at the top of the left-hand panel​ 7. (Optional) Click **\[Extra Contact Information\]** in order to collect an address or phone number at checkout (for taxes or communication) > check the box of the information you want to collect > click the **\[Save\]** button > and then click the **\[< Back\]** button​ 8. (Optional) Click **\[Service Agreement\]**, if you would like to add an agreement or terms to this purchase > select **\[Required\]** or **\[Custom Agreement Text\]** \> paste in a link to your terms and conditions/service agreement > click the **\[Save\]** button > and then click the **\[< Back\]** button​ 9. Once you have previewed and finalised your course offer checkout, from the main ivorey menu, go to **Portals** > **Courses** > **Offers**​ 10. Find your offer again > tap the **\[Draft\]** drop-down menu > and select **\[Publish\]**​ 11. Click the 🔗 link icon to copy the link to your offer checkout. Currently, all payment processors are supported by offer checkouts, except for the following: - Stripe - Affirm/Klarna/Afterpay - Stripe - ACH Direct debit - Stripe - Card Reader - Square - Card Reader If you need to enable one of the unsupported payment methods, we recommend setting up a [sales funnel](https://help.ivorey.io/en/articles/11131278-all-about-sales-funnels-a-master-help-guide.md) instead which allows for more flexibility at checkout. * * * ## need help?
