Select the column you would like to change the alignment on. You will see a purple box around the column. If you cannot find the column, open the "layer" icon on the top left toolbar to find it.

Once you select the column, the settings panel on the right will open. Under the Column Layout panel, you can change the Content Spacing settings.

Left align will align things to the Top of the column. Right align will align to the bottom of the column.
