For improving site speed and overall performance, we suggest the same universal principles as all website builders:

  • Use JPG images instead of PNGs whenever possible to reduce file sizes without sacrificing quality.

  • Compress large images before uploading them. Free tools like TinyPNG can help.

  • Limit the use of large videos or heavy animations, as these can slow down websites.

  • Consider which font files you use e.g. custom fonts vs Google fonts.

  • Pay attention to the on/off toggle under your website settings called "Image Optimization".

    • If toggled ON > It will sacrifice image quality in order to achieve better load times, but can result in pixelated/blurry images if the file was too large.

    • If toggled OFF > It will show the original image quality regardless of how long it takes to load.

We suggest following universal recommendations for websites, and to use Google page speed tests to continue optimizing your site
